You vastly underestimate the power of HoT effects in PvP. You said you don't run Surge, that right there explains why you were having trouble. If my Blood Craze gets dodged, purged, or falls off, I'm no longer healing enough, because I minmax to take full advantage of its HoT effect in completing my defensive toolkit. This was in response to Xylena counting Blood Craze as a healing skill

Turning the Ward burst into a HoT effect seems to be popular. What sort of HoT do you guys want though? If it's like Vigor, still disgustingly overpowered. If it's like Blood Craze, probably totally fine then.

When I play my magsorc, I don't die and I can nuke people from far away before they can touch me. I don't want people to have counterplay to my playstyle so please don't take away my op button.

he was a NB scum converted to magsorc chad. As a fellow sorc chad I welcome Sorc converters. We shall build a wizard army to exterminate these pesky NBs!
Oh yeah well I died on my NB again today. Healthy Offering needs a damage shield to be in line with Ward.IncultaWolf wrote: »I seriously don't understand how people can go negative in bgs on those classes. When I play them I feel like I have cheat engine enabled

guess my build is weak…
You need a better build. On my stamsorc with 36.9k HP I'm getting an 8k Ward in BG:
If you have a 9k Ward on your magsorc then that means your max mag is hovering around 38-39k. Most magsorcs run with 50k+ max mag this patch.
Thanks for taking the time to try the max mag strat! Not only can you spam it to recover, but you can also preload Ward at full hp before taking damage, for example if you sense a Meteor coming, a fast click of Ward will completely brick that player's Meteor + Javelin combo, which can otherwise kill you before you have a chance to break free and burst heal. Countering damage ahead of time like that (at full hp) is something only shields can do, burst heals cannot.SandandStars wrote: »ok. tinkered the build and got up to 47k magicka, which put shield at ~11k and heal at ~7.5k. i think what i was missing was that u can just spam hw repeatedly and survive a ton of dmg. when i played magsorc before, i never relied on shields in this way. so i see it now. it’s like spamming healthy offering.
