Some 'werewolf' players seem to believe that the new werewolf- 'roar' debuff, "terrified" should potentially have an actual animation.

I fully believe that what it is now is most likely intended and we are adding additional micromanagement to werewolf for x, y, z reasoned-reason. Beyond this, especially w/o a true physical indicator, this 'terrified' effect should/needs to be applied by ALL MORPHS of 'roar' to avoid unnecessarily high damage loss for a tanking/group-play QoL change.

With that being said, in the spirit of the mention that it should be a 'mark': (from the PTS 10.0... patch notes)

"Terrified doesn't do anything outright other than place a tracking effect on enemies, to help Werewolves mark their prey"

Exactly this. I was under the impression from the wording in the patch notes that the Terrified effect would place a marker on affected enemies, maybe like how Blood Scion lets you see enemies through walls, or like the Detect Life effect from TES V: Skyrim, which that game's Werewolf form did have access to in a similar way — roaring, but with the Totem of the Hunt activated. I thought this was ESO's parallel to that implementation.

Without listing the debuffs on our target enemy via the settings menu, there is no "tracking" effect whatsoever. Either the patch notes are wrong about there being a tracking effect, or this is a bug in the game that was overlooked.

PC/NA — Lone Werewolf, the Templar Khajiit Werewolf

Werewolf Should be Allowed to Sneak
Please give us Werewolf Skill Styles (for customizing our fur color), Grimoires/Scribing skills (to fill in the holes in our builds), and Companions (to transform with).

Dying while in Werewolf form with Deafening Roar slotted will not grant you Major Protection upon respawning. Further, the heavy attacks fail to taunt enemies under these conditions.

This means that if you die as a Werewolf tank, you lose your ability to taunt, as well as your Major Protection. Your group would need to wipe if you didn't bring some alternate way to taunt enemies.

Not quite sure if it’s a bug or intentional, but when you apply the “Terrified” debuff through Werewolf to anyone with a purge, the effect is being considered a “negative effect”.

I can’t help but feel that there’s no way this is intentional, as you’re giving players with a purge complete control over their opponent’s damage.

Ironically, Werewolf is the only playstyle without a purge in their toolkit. Everyone else can slot Purge from the Support skill line, which is available regardless of weapon or class. Champion Points and item sets are not guaranteed to work in all environments (like No-Proc or Battlegrounds), and we don't always have allies who can cleanse negative effects for us.

Because of this, Werewolf is hit the hardest — they can't "un-Terrify" themselves when fighting other Werewolves.

The Werewolf skill line above all skill lines could've used a Grimoire the most. They have glaring holes that they literally cannot fill because of the "only Werewolf skills" restriction. Scribing could've allowed Werewolves to fill the tanking and healing roles without sacrificing functionality in their base toolkit, which so far has negatively affected their performance in both PvE and PvP.

Also, the animation bug when selecting a Verse/Vision in the Infinite Archive while in Werewolf form is still present. This is what the bug looks like when two Werewolf players are affected by the bug:

The animation only properly ends when you cancel out of the Verse/Vision selection menu, but you never get the portal to continue if you don't select a Verse or a Vision. Werewolf players have to see this animation bug every time they clear a stage.

With the changes to dark shade, being all aoe now, it doesn't proc Prior Thierric. But it now uses the power drain animation, which does proc Prior thierric. So unless i'm missing something, shouldn't dark shade be a aoe direct damage ability now?

Edit: I guess pet attacks like this are considered damage over time : (

Expert Summoner still interacts with certain sets, e.g. engine guardian. Could you please narrow this passive down to the non-ultimate pets (twilight and familiar)?
