It's been a year since we got the Ayleid crates; do you have any plans on bringing the crates back? There are so many items I want, and I don't mind wasting money on them! :D

Seemingly there's an Ayleid element to the Gold Road chapter so they might be planning to re-release with that next month.

that would be awesome, i still need some of the weapon styles.
but probably won't return until late 2024 or next year because crown crates tend to take about two years to return

I hope so! More than that, I hope there are new Ayleid furnishings and other Ayleid themed items released this year!

Same and in the past we have seen new (to the game) furnishing styles dribbled out over the year rather than unveiled all at once.

The Ayleids were mostly awful but gosh they had great style. I regard their style seen in the Oblivion game and enlivened in Auridon's architecture as proper Elder Scrolls elven.

Alinor? That's what I'd expect of a human race in an Asian MMO.

I'm also hoping for more Bosmer items though woody rather than dead animal bits and we got a few of those in the preview.

More homes for both would also be nice though again Bosmer just woody rather than the dead animal bits baked in. Players can always add things like that with furnishings but baked in can be difficult or sometimes impossible to hide.

I think that’s Alessian propaganda! Certainly, some were truly despicable, but not all of them. That’s what I think anyway.

And I agree, it would be nice to see more refined Bosmer furnishings as well, and those trees with amber “stained glass” windows!

In all seriousness this slave keeping culture was dreadful.

How did the everyday Ayleid feel about slavery and torture? Don't know. I've personally seen real world governments do utterly despicable things which if known to the public would be considered outrageous.

But it is recorded that some supported the Alessian rebellion so there were some very good eggs among them.

I've been wanting those tree forever too. Gorgeous.

Oh, absolutely, I am not defending those who kept slaves and created flesh gardens. Not at all. I only think that the Alessians misrepresented how widespread the practices were to justify annihilating a whole people and culture. It would not be unusual. History is written by the victors after all.

I hear Ayleid and I'm automatically on board. I've loved Ayleids since Oblivion. Their ruins are gorgeous, their understanding of Nirn's magic is astounding. Sure, they were slaving scum as well, but when it comes to their aesthetics and scholarly pursuits, they're fascinating.

Plus, the headcanon/personal RP I have for my main in ESO is that he's an Altmer Psijic who has an obsession with the Ayleids due to those same reasons. I already incorporate Ayleid aesthetics (namely the teal of welkynd stones) into my Psijic attire as it is, so Ayleid crates would be something I'd love, especially if we get a few for free in June due to Gold Road.

That's certainly possible and I have to admit, Elder Scrolls representation of the Imperials as a mirror to the real world Romans is one aspect of the franchise which I have a question mark over.

In school we were taught about the great and mighty Roman Empire but later I learned that Rome was an insatiable warmonger and adept cultural assassin.

The Persian Achaemenid Empire is closer to the enlightened Elder Scrolls one but as did Rome, they allowed slavery.

I'm not a crate buyer myself but just about the only apex crate mounts I'd be truly joyous to receive would be those.

Slightly less into the camel than the others but any of the other 5 would be a welcome addition to my collection.
