No need for set up settings:
1. Deinstall:
Are you sure you want to completety remove Minion and all of its components? YES
Do you want to delete the minion configuration directory? NO
Minion was successfully removed from your computer.
2. Download Minion from https://minion.mmoui.com/?download
3. Start Minion3.0.12.exe
When the Setup asks
The folder ( e.g. C:\Users\<your user>\AppData\Local\Minion)
already exists, Would you like to install to that folder anyway? YES
and finish the installation
Launch Minion and all is ok

I gave it permissions in the Firewall settings, running as Administrator, still won't launch.The best techniques are passed on by the survivors.0 -

Fixed this after the earlier problems, but now today when I load Minion it simply gets stuck on Loading... with the Cylon bar.
Under that it mentions all the things it loaded..

✭Just an add in case it can help some others: I uninstall then reinstall, and in my case it went worse: Minion couldn't detect any addons, even when I was specifying the folder. So I gave up.
One hour later, I started ESO to play a bit, and while at computer, decided it's worth retrying with Minion: it went trouble free as if nothing happened before!
So, it looks like in my case, having ESO opened before to open Minion was the trick to get things back on track.I'm out of my mind, feel free to leave a message... PC/NA0 -

That didn't work for me DreamyLu.
Still stuck on it saying Loading...
Meanwhile I did the ipv4 command line thing from the Troublshooting guide. It successfully ran the command but that didn't fix anything.
And now I'm left wondering if that strange command may have created some unnecessary hole in my PC security (or performance) that didn't fix the problem.

I wound up resetting the various detections and that fixed things.
After a bit of finagling; restarting the app and messing around with those resets a bit..

ClowdyAllDay✭✭✭✭I had an issue i thought it wasnt running but it was auto minimizing to the little quick start area with the steam icon sits and i had to cclick option the for it to draw the window by repositioning it or something like that. was very weird.0

its still broken
i completely removed it and tried to reinstall 3.0.12 but now that process won't even complete. It just keeps loading. "Fetching global configuration" I don' t know what to do 0 -
