I don't know if you want to add anyone else's observations to your map, but if you go directly north from Autumn's-Gate you'll see a ledge jutting out a bit over the river on the opposite shore. There's a mammoth roaming around nearby. Right on top of that ledge or protuberance is where I encountered some feral werewolves one night. If you go to the protuberance, stand on it, and look at the map, it's almost exactly but not quite due north of Autumn's-Gate, sort of N-N-N-N-N-N-N-N-NE. It's still fairly close to the road, which is where they usually spawn according to your map.

    Greetings,

After further review we have decided to move this thread to a category we think is more appropriate for this topic.

    Thank you for your understanding.

Are feral werewolves similar to the feral druids in world of warcraft?

One thing you may need to do is kill them slowly. I think there is some RNG to infection per WW attack.

So if you are not getting infected, then do what you can to drag the fight out.
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

Don't fight them; let them attack you. Once you're infected, run away until they stop following and return to their spawn point.

There is so much misinformation in game forums about this topic!!
Feral bloodfiends and werewolves share (very closely) the same spawn points in game. As others have pointed out, there is an addon called Destinations that will show these spawn points, but it doesn't know all of them, and the locations are approximate. They are in the three highest level non-DLC regions: The Rift, Bangkorai, and Reaper's March. The actual spawns are always near the base of a cliff or large rock or other "sheltering" feature. Usually, there will be 3 bloodfiends or 2 ww.
When the game first dropped, ww spawned on the 3 nights around the (in game) full moon, and bloodfiends spawned on the three nights around the new moon. However, guilds were making a lot of gold, selling bites, and camped the spawn points on those nights to kill the spawns, so players would have to buy bites. So Zenimax changed it a year or two into the game, and now they all spawn on random nights - except, so far as I have seen (I've spent a LOT of time chasing these down for various characters), ww and bloodfiends won't spawn on the same night - at least in the same region, and maybe Tamriel-wide.
If you get bit by a player, a portal/scroll appears at the altar, to start a quest. If you get bit by a feral, you have to go to a town in the highest-level region of your alliance, and there will be an NPC that gives you the quest. (It doesn't matter which region you're bitten in, but you only can get the NPC quest in your alliance's region.)
The best time to find these ferals is on game nights that coincide with low-player populations: late night/early morning in the real server world; and during the first few days of special events. Zenimax, for some reason, put ALL the spawn points adjacent to major roads, and players passing by just kill them. They will respawn, but I don't know how quickly.
You do not have to fight them. If you walk up, they will start flailing away at you, not doing much damage, and you will soon see the disease/curse debuff on your character, and can (should) just run away.
I hope this helps someone - there are still MANY ill-informed folks out there claiming ww spawn on full moons.
