It’s because each piece was designed to work with the corresponding chest piece of the same weight. You only run into this problem when mixing certain motifs. Many pieces still work well together, and part of the challenge of ESO fashion is figuring out which pieces work well together.
It would be great if the motif system was truly universal, such that every piece fits well with every other piece, but that’s just not how it was designed.
It’s because each piece was designed to work with the corresponding chest piece of the same weight. You only run into this problem when mixing certain motifs. Many pieces still work well together, and part of the challenge of ESO fashion is figuring out which pieces work well together.
