Even then, we do get stronger with each CP point we earn. After we finish out the CP for one role we can place CP into positions for other roles. If we only play one role then it is easy and that player does not need to be concerned with anything after that.
And thats exactly what a poll is for my friend. So you can see the different opinions and views based on percentages.
And no, we dont get "stronger" by switching points for other roles, since thats not what getting stronger means. On top of that you can always just slot different armory builds and switch without any costs, so you dont need to get all the cp actives you need for 2 or more builds.
Not really. Only the first two responses offer some refinement but are still problematic at best.
The first one is something new that will not happen because Zenimax purposely designed the current reiteration after giving it much thought. Even with the previous version the amount of points we gained in a year provided only a minuscule boost it. So even then it is clear
And yes. I do get stronger by being able to place points into areas of other roles. Since I do play multiple roles on some characters it makes me strong enough to do so. It is so amazing over the previous design.
The second choice tells us nothing we did not already know as there have been regular threads on about the green tree. Even then, it is irrelevant to the first choice that it forces players to split between the two. Hence my comment that this is too generalized to be meaningful.
Thank you for providing your thoughts on the matter.
Ah i wont argue with it about it, since I see your definition of "getting stronger" means being able to switch roles and diversify, which isnt what i would define "getting stronger" with. Not everyone plays 2 different builds on 1 char, so this isnt relevant to all people anyways.
And no of course the poll is made simple, since i cant put tons of different options, that may overlap in 1 vote. But the majority sees change potential, and just 25% (not counting players that didnt made it to the cp breakpoint) is happy with it as it now and experienced the motivation loss like I did. So i am fine with the outcome anyways. Thank you for providing your thoughts on the matter too. I appreciate it.
Oh, I understand not everyone players multiple builds. But Zenimax will not change things back to where a player gets stronger with every point as it was before, regardless of how meaningless that extra power was.
The current design is well thought out and is good for the game. It means a player does not have to grind to reach max level (and this game has had far too many absurd grinds). A player can reach maximum power and sit comfortably.
As for how well the poll is made, well, we will have to agree to disagree as my points are based on sound logic.

I dont believe giving a majoritiy of people a motivation loss after hitting the cp breakpoint for getting stronger is "good for the game". At the end customers that pay the most for the game are the long term players and not the players, that are playing for 2 months and then quitting for another game for some months again.
And since we see from the poll nearly 70% sees potential to change the cp. I wont answer again since you are getting on my nerves with ur wannabe superior attitude and comments. Good luck

The logic is based on Zenimax spent considerable time redesigning the CP system. One goal was to limit the effect of power creep which means not permitting every point up to the cap to increase the DPS for a character.
That logic is based on the goal Zenimax had.
The poll also says 74% of the players are NOT in favor of changing the CP so that every point increases the power (DPS) for a character. The largest group is only in favor of QoL changes, which pretty much changes to the green tree. The second to the smallest group is in favor of getting stronger with every point which puts that group into the minority.
So even the poll aligns with what I have said.

there really shouldn't' be a limit on the green tree after about 1800 CP you have nothing in the green tree that can you can really spend on without constantly having to change your CP
as far as other trees after 1700 CP or so I don't know what else to spend my CP on its a waste there really no advantage between a 1600cp and a 3600cp something should be done in that regard
derkaiserliche wrote: »Hello guys,
double exp events are ususally very nice events to look forward to, but once you hit like cp 1400-1500 it feels practically meaningless to level.
The only reason I still grind exp here and then is in hopes of an upcoming cp rework. Leveling should be rewarding to the player, since it takes a lot of time to reach high cp.
I dont need to be a lot stronger with cp 3600 than i was with cp 1500, but there has to be more than just a very little gold and time relief for switching cp points, which many people very rarely do.
So i am either for having minor strengh progresses with more passives (like 100life, 1% crit or whatever), or active slots that are actually nice to have like in the green tree.
For Eso Team: people that got a motivation to level are people who will go for eso+ and keep playing the game. I bet many players would aim for cp 3600 once its "worth it".

Yea i said changes and not "the first poll choice". Changes are combined 69% so my answer was completly correct
Just because i voted nr 1, doesnt mean i like the green tree options as well.
So to sum it up again: 69% are welcoming cp-tree changes and thats what my poll was aiming for. Thanks for reporting me btw.

But you could have used ur comment to actually provide a new poll idea or ur point of view, then i can add it in the future
