I have opened a support case, but thus far, it has been less than helpful and is more of an exercise in futility. For people who don’t know, error 318 is an excessive spamming of in-game messages. It will kick you to the desktop and advise you to stop spamming. All three of us have experienced the issue. Yet we are using Team Speak and don’t use in-game messaging at all during the "Red Petal Bastion" Dungeon.
What the ESO support team has had me do is turn off add-ons, add an exception to my AV for ESO, do a clean reinstall, and make sure I am not using a VPN. All though I followed their advice. This seems completely ridiculous, as we all have the same issue. We have different OSes and are vastly geographically located using different ISPs.
Here is what is odd or a little different. I imagine most people queue, and we don’t do a normal dungeon queue. We had only three people in the group, so we manually entered the dungeon in the vet mode. All three of us are DPS. We complete most content this way, but the dungeon is different. I know support wants to make it something wrong on our computers, but I believe this is something in the game or at least how we play. Has anybody else experienced this same error 318 when doing the “Red Petal Bastion” Dungeon in manual Vet mode?
