Thoses [snip] builds has been reported almost a year ago...
Like templar and Necro being in a bad spot.
They finally nerfed the ultimate generation while in corrosive though

the tank meta itself is a different problem though

I can't wait to play in a dead campaign! So much fun!

"Silly OP, if you have a problem with two proc sets being overpowered and offering free damage, you should just go play the campaign where all proc sets (and the CP-system) are disabled!"

Seems like every arcanist uses this set up, which makes me believe their class is in a bad state, and if they nerf it the class will kinda suck. Pretty much same result as changing harmony trait for necro lol… only reason I am hesitant to level one up
DK, warden, nightblade, Templar all have way stronger options than running master Dw/vate if the goal is to do big burst in solo/group play and survive.

Arcanist doesn't have a good spammable.

Fatecarver isn't intended to be a spammable, it's a burst ability akin to Spec Bow, Shalks, or Blastbones, and it does very well in that role.
Arcanist actually has 2 GREAT spammables: Runeblades and Flail. Runeblades has an absurdly high tooltip and multi-hits (meaning higher proc chances and more potential damage from things like Draugrkin), while Flail is matched only by Nightblade's spammable in terms of effect bloat - it roots, has an unnamed vulnerability effect, executes, builds crux, and is AOE.

I don't think rune blades is that good. It needs something else. I would love to be able to use rune blades to generate crux, but it just isn't as useful as flail.
Flail is not bad. But that's mostly because besides generating crux it has an immobilize and debuffs with abyssal ink. Not because it does good damage.
I only use it for generating crux, and immobilizing a player when they start getting too close to me.
All crux is reserved for impervious rune ward. Would never waste it on beam.

You're using beam wrong then. You should never cast beam unless it's with 3 crux - it's a wasted cast with anything less.
You need to be choosing between beam and runeward based on context. Or as an alternative, just run Chakrams as your main defensive ability with max stat stacking.
