How do I cancel my account?

Sorry if this is a duplicate, but search kept bringing back really old threads. I'd like to cancel my account, and I was able to cancel my ESO Plus Subscription and unlink all of my linked accounts, but I don't seem to be able to get rid of my account itself. If there's a thread that addresses this, I'm happy to get a link.

Why do you need to delete your account? Just cancel your sub and stop logging on. Maybe uninstall the game if you never going to play again. You might change your mind and want to pick the game back up sometime, so just quit paying and uninstall2 -

I don't think it's unreasonable to expect there to be a way to set an account to inactive or delete it without letting it lay idle. It seems weirder for it to just lie there inactive forever.0 -

✭✭✭✭✭Open a ticket with support. The options you can manage yourself have already been described here: cancel ESO+, uninstall the game, and yes - if you want - delete your characters first (most people will find that a strange finality). Anything else will require Zeni Support intervention.
