While i agree with you about the nerf posts, your post is condescending and you fail to acknowledge that there are other playstyles than organised group pvp. In my opinion pvp is not the focus, much less highly organised PVP. Most players are PVE players.

So i think your post is not helpful, it will just generate go *** yourself responses because of the attitude.

My post is directed to encourage more pvp , people to have more fun in pvp and get pvp to be better.

'Most players are PVE players', exactly my point, if a mainly PVE player tries PVP without being in an organised raid or solo the experience is completely different.

There are many guilds who do PVE content as needed but the main focus is PVP, our guild is PVP focused 80% of time with PVE for the quiet times, gear upgrades or crafting.

as a PS, our raid leader is Templar, we have as many NB as Sorcs and very few DK, just reiterating that all classes have a role, some may be great 1-1 but we don't fight 1-1 we fight as a team with synergies etc.

I can see your point, though there's some stuff that needs to get toned downed, the nerf crys are always uneducated, in the same vein the people defending bat swarm stacking are dilusional.

I for one would like to see Bolt Escape require a enemy within a 25 radius to use, playing a sorc I'm sure you would not, but they can balance that kind of stuff after fixing Talons and dealing with the NB bugs..

There are 2 kinds of nerf threads:
1- 'I got killed in PvP and I want everyone else to get nerfed so I can roflpwn everyone, so I can sleep happily at night'
2- 'The class/skill/whatever xxx is unbalanced/OPed and need to be balanced'

We can all be in category 1 at times, I know I am at times. Because somethings we are just not prepared for xxx, and it looks OPed at the moment. But this may change if we have all the facts about the information, and also take a look at what we did in the fight/event/etc.

Number 2 is important, and what any MMO company NEED to listen to, and this need to be reported. We just need to be as objective as possible, and say it like it is, no matter if it also hurts 'our' class/skill/etc. What is in this category is what happens over and over and over, so there is little doubt about it being a problem.

@ Jarn , agree totally, Bat Swarm is best example, but from experience I cannot think of another that falls into the same category as that despite all the various NERF threads.

Bat Swarm on its own was not overpowered, in the hands of a DK or Sorc with ultimate cost reduction is what made it overpowered. The nerf to vampires did nothing to address the actual issue and will just lead to other strong ultimates being spammed.

If ultimate cost reduction was hard capped and you couldn't generate ultimate points while an ultimate was currently in use, it would have done far more for the game overall than hitting vampires with a poorly thought out nerf.

Once you get the above done you will have a much clearer understanding of how each class has its role, each class has its benefits to a raid and how they work together.

If your trying to compete in a pug not on voice comms, unless you have 2-3* our numbers you will die.

We have a complete mix of classes and skill lines and yes there maybe some tweaks needing doing overall we don't have anyone who thinks their class does not contribute to the team effort in pvp.

So please, experience more pvp, join an organised guild, then you will have the experience to shout 'NERF' on the 'real' issues, bat swarm was one, but its fixed..

I'm fed up with posts complaining about other posts complaining...

And i can assure you , until there is a degree of balance in 1x1 , people WILL complain.

PS: i dont even care about 1x1 that much , but the fact that the DK and the sorc are much better off than me is so freaking clear , that i cant let it pass.

that 1.1 better solve this.

and what class/setup/lvl/etc are you running then? thats what i would like to know
