Yeah, you're right. At least that's how Dictionary.com pronounces it.
None of those. I'm French and with my accent, it sounds nearly like: "rcanist" , with the "a" of "can" sounding like the the virtual "a" at the beginning when you pronounce letter "r", as in a rather muffled "a".

Even Zos calls it that. The early example where someone used Lorkhan doesn’t work because the emphasis comes from the kh. There isn’t any in arcanist. There’s no e, and the word isn’t arcane. It’s clearly pronounced Ar can ist. Sound it out y’all.

I'm also an American Italian from the east coast and I say it the same way.
Reminds me of the debate over the pronunciation of "Necropotence". I always said it "neh-crow-POE-tense" but it turned out it's "neh-CRAW-puh-tense".
Back on topic, "AR-cuh-nist" seems right to me.
