Tonight I was just in overland waiting for a queue. Would be sitting there looking right at an NPC mashing a gap closer and it just won't go off for several seconds. Pretty bad when you can't even do basic, un-intensive stuff.

I think ESO PvP at prime time is possibly the worst type of psychological torture anyone could bare. Brain cells self destructing. It wouldn't suprise me if it's one of the methods of effective interrogation.

"Tell us now, or play ESO PvP when all bars are full for 3 hours straight !"

I'd most certainly give up all information immediately 🤣.

All jokes aside, It's genuinely borderline unplayable. I'm not hating on Zenimax as I'm sure the team is working hard on it. But quite frankly it's becoming close to literally a broken product.

I find your whole posting really funny and all, but who do you mean? What team?

We lost another major pvp streamer member of the community today, on top of those we lost last week and the week before. These are people who have been in the game since beta. They're not replaceable. There's 3 or 4 left. For a 'million people' game.

The second there's a viable pvp alternative ESO is done and with it, one of two end game options for players.

Live up to all the promises made, all the tests done and produce results. It's a game for us -it's career credibility on the line for developers.

There is no 2024 for ESO pvp unless devs make one.

Just went in tonight and since the patch the lag feels even worse? Bar swapping is now a constant issue, as are casting skills. Previously only encountered these particular issues when near faction stacking fights but now even innocuous fights of 10 people are causing it.

Genuinely a bit devastating for me but just going to call it a day now. Met some wicked people in game but I can't play whilst ilthe performance is so lacklustre

Definitely worse since the update. All the reasons above and last night most reds quit and went to Imperial Ciry instead. Really hope the server upgrades happen in April as announced and it’s not dangling the carrot from the stick. (PSEU)

ZOS posted an update on Server Refreshes. It’s a bit disappointing for the XBox EU servers. I suggest everyone read it. Feeling a bit disheartened by the lack of a credible date for when work will be started/completed other than “sometime later this year”.

since update it takes 5 or 6 tries to log in on the NA Playstation server..

EU server access is fine, NA not so much...

Refresh either only lasts so long, or they've wrecked the code that was working already from updates. I just dropped off playing tonight PC NA as it is as bad as ever. Can't get abilities to go off, and saw the slow bug again. So cool

At the Moment i Play far cry 6. To many lags and Bugs. I read it and yh DK got a buff again with chains. I played the new Version before the Patch and it proced Players down now with the Changes it will be more powerful. Snake was good but now it don't be useful in x EU. As Adam Said playing at Primetime Kills your brain cells.nothing works and you fight Always a complete bar. I think if they dont rework the code nothing will change. there so many issues that GH on prime time is unplayable.

    [snip]

But to jump in here, all I can say is that having read the notes and - after pulling some very incredulous expressions- I truly feel for the other customers / consumers outside of Xbox if they are having performance issues worse than we experience & which are staggering.

And what really gets under my skin is that the new dungeons in pve are great. They’ve got excellent mechs, they’re enjoyable, well executed etc which just makes the disparity with pvp so much more present.

The current state of PVP is a symptom currently of the overall issue between lack of communication, lack of awareness, and lack of care between the developers, the overall corporation, and the players themselves. PVP has been (and is) a big selling point by Zos for ESO and at this point it feels like false advertisement as it just doesn’t work - it’s a broken product. I’ve largely moved on to other games where I know that issues are faced swiftly, directly, with the players in mind, because my time is valuable - if not to Zos then to myself and I certainly encourage others to reflect on that.

The actual state of PvP is be quite and give me your money. How long we discuss it? we get no information about the Code. I dont want any details a simple we start in the background and it will improve the performance is ok. But we get nothing and that is what player bring to other games. No communication. They bring every patch more and more Sets and nerf or rework them best e.g. Brokensoul or now snake.

At the moment i feel it was right to take a break from ESO because i just a have a few hours a day and when i play i will play for fun and not against lags or bug.

I know. I compare it to other games with equally enthusiastic communities & how they respond & the difference is practically cosmic in scale.

It’s just rather sad at this point as the game has so much unique pvp potential that is being pissed away by disingenuous ‘communication’, false commitments & a pervasive arrogance that believes players won’t simply move on to other games with a more engaging & honest relationship between the player community & devs.

But we can sit here beating the drum deafeningly loud & it still won’t be heard.

@ZOS_Kevin & @ZOS_GinaBruno Can we get some confirmation that cyrodiil and PvP performance are being given serious consideration? Can we get an update on some of the promises Matt Firor made - what are the goals for pvp performance improvements and how are these being measured? Entire keeps of people are crashing, the skill delay has become unplayable (not just general lag but actual full 5 second delays), the list goes on and on. PvP is the only aspect of the game I play and the only reason I maintain an ESO+ subscription but it’s starting to feel like what I get vs. what I give aren’t of equal value.

    I don't disagree.

Performance is significantly better since hardware upgrade on PC NA but for some reason has gone down a bit since then.

Currently playing during prime time hours in any cyro campaign is a hellish experience compared to other games.

Playing during non busy hours the performance is significantly better with the difference being night and day.

Is more playable now. Difficult to measure performance, as experience and momentum are crusial. A hardware upgrade is always good but gives no guarantees. My best experience sofar: quicker responses of skills, e.g. executes of 2H's are actually working again during hot spot fights.
