Stop stealing 150 points on ranked for everything and nothing!

Now, after the last horrendous update, the game even crashes during ranked ToT. When it happens we lose 150 points and get a 10 minutes deserter penalty. This is too much, this is unacceptable! We get a penalty and lose 150 points because the game is broken? Insane!! Really insane!

Just stop the removal of 150 points! It's ridiculous, it's not fair even in a normal loss without crashes. Stop it! Fix the crazy rank system. We often receive 0 or 1 point for winning and always lose 150 points by losing a match, bugs and crashes. It's destroying the game.

    Or shut down ranked until the issue is fixed.

    Otherwise people will alt+F4 if their game is going bad for them If it eliminates losing points.

    That's not it. They shouldn't ever remove 150 points for losing. It's too much considering that we rarely get more than 10 points on winning. It wouldn't be a problem if we get the same number for winning or losing, or even half, it would be acceptable: 75 points for a win, and 150 points for losing. With a system like this, when the game crashed we only had to win two consecutive matches instead of ten. The way it is now it's pathetic. Specially with the game so unstable as it is now.

    My understanding of the ranking system is that the number of points you gain or lose is based on your ranking versus your opponent's ranking.

    If your ranking is higher than your opponent's, you gain a smaller number of points when you win, and lose a larger number of points when you lose.

    If your ranking is lower than your opponent's, you gain a larger number of points when you win, and lose a smaller number of points when you lose.

    But I don't think any of that has been confirmed by the devs; it's just how it works in the ranking system that ToT is thought to be based upon.

    I thought the same but sometimes if just seems too random and unfair. Yesterday I got 0 (zero!) points from a deserter way ahead of me in rank (maybe he just crashed) and I lost 150 points by losing a match with an opponent 90 places ahead of me. This is all demotivating and adding the fact that they also steal 150 points on crashing... It's really really bad.

    I disconnect very regularly and it's super annoying to happen when climbing or having a good game. I wish that there was a reconnect option.

    That's another thing I can't understand. We have 90 seconds to play, why can't the opponent wait 90 seconds when we crash? That's impossible to understand. We can reconnect on dungeons, why can't we reconnect on ToT. Super weird. On Elder Scrolls Legends when we leave the match the opponent keeps playing for two turns and we can return when we relog if the opponent doesn't finish us in those two turns. It makes much more sense than the crazy way how ToT is design. If they want to kill a casual match on a crash, it's ok for me, but they shouldn't be doing that on ranked and stealing 150 points from players that didn't even lose the match.

    This is an extremely reasonable request. Good, rational solution. Why aren't our class reps putting out ideas like this?

    For one, many players find the 90 second timer to be way too long.

    Then how is the other player supposed to know that their opponent crashed as opposed to them just sitting there (which happens way too often)?

    And it could take a lot longer than 90 seconds to get back in, then it could happen again. I know I wouldn't wait around while my opponent keeps crashing.

    Losing a game because we crashed isn't a problem with ToT anyway. It's a problem with crashing which ToT didn't cause.
