First thing I did after running into trouble on NA was to go to my few EU toons. Checked the event quest buttons, loaded up the FREE pet and statue and then scrolled down to the Heroes event button and pushed buy (free). Once that was done I went into inventory and there it was. One click and it moves down alphabetically so check there on that character. I thought mine was missed too. I had grabbed it several days back and forgot which one took it...All better now

I am confused? I had to have done the lead-in event to get the gold ring?

UPDATE: I was wrong. I had done the quest on my NA character (of the same name) and looked on my EU character. I have done it successfully on both sides now. User error in this case.

Though this does demonstrate the need for some better alt-management tools.

I did check again later and I was looking at the wrong server/character combination. I have rings on both NA and EU now.
