Timer and card animations
I have lost already several competitive matches just because certain card animations take too long. This is not acceptable. I understand the timer and of course it is open to debate how long it should be. But this whatever the timer will be, changed or unmodified, it is applicable for both players. But when one has so much time losses due to card animations particularly when it is about card to and fro management that this becomes a decisive factor in winning or losing a match this is no longer acceptable and needs to be modified.
To emphasize my point: During card animation no action by the player is possible. Hence the time loss.
I have three alternative suggestions:
- cancel card animations
- allow player to play and buy cards during animation
- add time of animations to the timer.
