I play a female High Elf Nightblade, why is my shadow male?

So I noticed my shadow pet likes to make very manly sounds when he does his AoE. Even though my character is a female Altmer, who after completing vDSA as a tank and vMA, I think she deserves to have a female version of her shadow.
I’m wondering if this will ever change and the shadow will instead sound like our characters? The description says that to use the spell, you summon a shadow of yourself. I feel like to be a High Elf, especially a female High Elf, you are suppose to be proud of yourself and who you are.
I just want to be able to choose if my shadow is female or male because I think my character and her achievements are overshadowed (no pun intended??) by having her shadow be male instead of female. It would make me even be more proud to be a Nightblade that refuses to use stealth in combat 😅

✭Always wanted the shadow to actually look and sound like our characters. Doesn't make sense otherwise. Nightblade bosses summon clones of themselves.That one khajiit obsessed with werewolf behemoth and vampire lord. Lady Thorn is bae, dont @ me.

✭✭A shadow summon is basically one of any infinite possible versions of the caster summoned into their own reality so the possibility of there being differences between the two is plausible. But yeah, I don't think it would make sense for the summon to be as generic as it is; it's kind of flavorless.0 -
Marginis✭✭✭✭✭Seems strange that the shadow wouldn't copy - in the very least - your character race and gender, if not your character's whole appearance.
