I have a registered fraps version and not only I can make screenshots in any format but also record some funny / awesome moments in game.
Doesn't cost that much and saves you time, also gives the opportunity to save your best memories and to share them with other members of the community.

Why would you want JPG? bad quality. Just convert the bmp to png

I for one would like a format where they dont fill 8MB each, and am willing to compromise a little on quality.
Since I can choose where to save my screenshots, and my drive where they are saved on doesnt have unlimited space to just throw away on 300+ screenshots.

    Edit:
They could have done like in The Secret World, where we can assign a hotkey for saving in JPG and one for saving in BMP

When I edited my UserSettings file, there was no entry for ScreenshotFormat, so I added one and set it to JPG. This worked, but on exiting the game my UserSettings file gets overwritten again and this edit is removed.

Also, the JPG created seems rather over compressed and there is some quality and colour loss, minimal but noticeable.

Ideally they should make JPG a permanent option in the game menu (PNG would be nice too) and have it save at 99% or 100% quality by default. This would make much smaller files than BMP and quality would be the same - I would challenge anyone to be able to detect the difference between a 99% or 100% quality JPEG and a BMP, there is no real world difference.

What is 8MB in the age of 4TB HDDs? Plus although I play at 2400x1500 they rarely become over 4mb

That may be so for you, but the screenshots dont save on my large hdd, it saves on my smaller SSD where the operating system is installed as well.
Also it is not everyone who has those large hdds now, so they should have, at least in my view, put some thought into this aspect of it as well.

I have 2 512gb hdd in my computer with about 150gb free on my main drive.

Its less lack of space and more of:
Emailing large files blows, I have a size limit
Messenger file transfers suck, the larger the file the biiger pain in the arse

I need a batch converter for my older shots.

I have over 200 screenshots, of everything from bots to funny sights to scenery, combat shots and "hey this armor looks badass!"

I'm like you. I take screens of everything. I recently went through my entire ESO collection and removed some of the less glamorous shots. Space is precious on my SSD, but I managed to trim my folder size to ~2.3 GB!

Is there a way to save the screenshots that we take with Print Screen in jpg format?
    Thanks!

Open the SS folder, right click on one and select edit. In the window that opens up choose to save it in the format of your choice including jpg.
