Surprise Attack + Marked Target Debuff question

How come these two debuff do not stack? How does it work? I am seeing no point in using Mark target for it's debuff since it takes up bar space and mana, when Surprise Attack does attack and gives a debuff. Is there any way I can use these two with each other in a way that will give me more DPS? I run a heavy crit Assassination/Shadow build in case any one wants to know.

What are you talking about ? They DO stack because they provide totally different types of debuffs.

Heard quite a few people say mark target doesnt work, it does. Download an addon that shows your damage then compare. My attacks do a fair bit more using mark target. This was before i morphed it too.

Has anyone else noticed that if you use Mark Target before the initial hit from stealth that it negates the stealth bonus to the attack as if you had been discovered? Same thing with Blur too. For that matter, if Blur is still active after a previous fight when I stealth and then attack the next new target the stealth bonus doesn't apply. And yes, I am waiting for "hidden" to show up first.
