Could we have more Aedra-related content?

I know people like baddies but not everything needs to be about evil Daedra or other forces threatening to destroy Nirn. Many of us also love the light and would like to see Aedra-related stuff. More Aedric religion stuff, Aedra-related costumes and objects, a DLC related to them, their lore, or an adventure to Aetherius, or something. We could have a psijic villain trying to infiltrate Aetherius idk. Or an Aedra worshipper.

The problem is that the ESO world does not accurately represent Tamriel demographic. There are hundreds of Daedric cults, with thousands of cultists each, everyone worships the Daedra, undercover cultists every corner, daedric ruins everywhere.

Apart from a handful of Aedric churches and temples we actually see very few priests (mostly in Elsweyr, who don't even follow the Eight) or a couple of Temples to the Divines (Wayrest & Alinor). The Eight and the Aedra in general are theoretically and huge part of TES lore, there should be devotees and churches everywhere. DB and the Order Hour stuff gave us some content like that and I think more is necessary to better represent Tamriel.

I believe in cannon aedra don't have forms. They kinda are sleeping and recovering from using their power to create nirn.

As much as I'd want some refreshment from a daedric schemes it's probably not happening. Aedra don't really manifest themselves in Nirn, but working through an "agent" which might be us in a sense, re: Dovakhiin or Pelinal as an example.

Either way there are community theories why is it so, like they can't actually interfere directly because X, Y and Z (or an L if you know what I mean), can't be bothered, not existing anymore in our sense of existence / changed form, etc. We still unsure but it's kind of a lore thing already that isn't much questioned, more of a fact.

Aedric worshipers rather than Aedra themselves usually, we had trinimac in wrothgar that was really well handled. Would have been nice to have some limelight for Zenithir in Blackwood but alas.

This one would pay good coin to see Pelinal in full form unleashed again.
Preferably on the same side/observing from a pocket plane.

It would be cool but if they wont show the aedra themself maybe some aspects of them? Shezzarines, other champions and demi-gods.

Yes please! The Aedra have personalities and characteristics just as the Daedra do. I would love to see them explored.

Before we get too far we should all be on the same page when discussing what the Aedta are and can actually do.

    https://youtu.be/Ge-FGHwy1DE

Now we have a problem with Aedra content as they basically exhausted a great deal of their power in the creation of Nirn. (There is also the distinct possibility that they don’t like mortals that much.)

Now we have interacted a bit with Aedra worshippers, Dragons are agents of Akitosh for example, the Order of the Hour, Zen, etc. but we have not had an expansion really dealing with them. Protecting a cathedral dedicated to the Eight divines I think would make a fine dlc, although on its surface it seems like the storyline may be a bit to straightforward.

More Aedra stuff would be ace. Lore wise direct interaction with them might not happen too much. But hey ya never know.

There is more of Mundus and more planets to explore, maybe only way to properly interact with the gods is to go to their world...

Would love a chapter in Aetherius, maybe even get to meet Magnus explanding more we know about him and the Maga-ge, maybe we get to meet some of them, i know if the lore there was a blue star that came to Nirn now and then.

Also for all we know there might be other et'Ada that did not even bother in the creation of Mundus that are doing their own thing in Aetherius.

Religion in Tamriel should have an impact. Choose you gods and place their shrines or small temples in your homes, sacrifice at those shrines and get rewards by the gods in form of a bonus, some material, a weapon, a lead or whatever. Get extra bonus when you worship gods related to your race. I would like such system!

In the original single player Morrowind there were Imperial Cult quests. If you did those, you ran into some rather interesting people. Meeting those individuals made the find and fetch FedEx quests worth the usual aggravation. I would enjoy an ESO version of it. It was interesting and challenging; how much is your character willing to do for a "random" npc?

I'm with the original poster here.

Even though the Aedra gave up their physical forms and power to become the fundamental parts of the universe, their worship makes up the largest religion in Tamriel.

We NEED more content about their churches, temples, cults, etc. just to make the world consistent with basic Elder Scrolls Lore.

What about Aedra heretics who do crazy things. And we discover that Aedra can be interpreted as almost as amoral as Daedra.

I always had heard that Bethesda has limited ZOS' usage of Aedra to protect those potential stories for single player ES.

I am not sure if that is really relevant. I mean, they are using or re-using the same protagonist from the single-player games over and over again in ESO (just take the forthcoming chapter and Mehrunes Dagon).

It would actually be great if we could choose the blessing of an Aedra/Daedra god instead of star blessings. Or choose a god in addition to the Mundus blessings. This should have been the case at least for Templars and Sorcerers, who openly revere said deities.

Like others said, it doesn't need to be the Aedra themselves manifesting, since they don't have physical bodies, but their lore, churches, realms, and agents could be explored more.
