"Vet" is a PvE title. If you want elite PvPers use PvP titles.

You see a lot of people advertising for 'Vet' or "VR" parties in Cyrodiil. Contrary to what these people may be thinking, rather than a badge of 'uberness' asking for vets means you want PvErs, veteran ranks are PvE titles!

If you want to form an elite PvP party or guild, instead, advertise for "Sergeant" grade or "Officers" or something like that. Use the PvP titles in PvP!

Neither arguing or defending either side, but maybe its because they want the high damage and survivability VR players have. Plus there's a lot of VR people with high end PvP titles.

They want veteran players because non veterans (49 and lower) are significantly worse. (Not saying they are bad players, but in terms of stats a 49 has nothing on a vr1+)

And in most of the zergs skill matter very little to not at all.

Veteran Ranks are level based, the higher level you are, the better you gear you probably have, the better equipped you probably are to handle PVP.

PVE is basically a Veteran Ranking system, because that is where people go to level up, Cyradiil sux for exp, everyone knows this.

You should read "veteran" as "between level 50 and 60".

I like VR groups because most the time VRs carry gems, under 50 not as much. They are names I recognize from playing with for how many weeks now, and they tend to have better survivability as a whole.

As long as the leader is active, and the group is organized I could care less if it's a vet group or not. IDC about the elitism of "only vets", just to ignore others as I think that's bad for the alliance. If we alienate the new players or the lower levels, as much as the "PUG"/Non-PvP guilded, we are not making use of a giant resource pool of players who have something significant to contribute to the war. We were all lvl 10 at one point, and we had a drive to contribute and learn, and we stuck it out to VR lvls. If we make it unwelcome for them we will lose a lot of potentials to FOFF mentality.

I'm just as happy to be in a non-vet group, as a VR group if it meets the active leader criteria. I just hate being LFG for long time lol. I just want to get into the action and grind up some smurf pie.
