This^^^
just make them bat sized.
to scale: 🦇
😎
This feels like one of the most easily monetizable things ZOS could add into the game and that bear is the only one that has appeared since MW's release which is honestly kinda crazy.

Or, implement the same system that they have with necro pets. I mean, we're living in the time of the Planemeld - where Daedra are spilling from the sky, killing and plundering everywhere. But no one bats an eyelid when a dozen adventurers waltz through town with a circus of scaly daedra at their side.

There's a big difference between necromancy and a conjured daedra. No one batted an eye over conjured daedra during the Oblivion crisis either, because a mage conjuring a daedra is not something to fuss about.
I really don't care about the lore if it's legal or not. The fact that people are still using this method to troll/grief, people should incur a bounty for inconveniencing other players, make a hotkey where we can target interactables, or simply make them despawn in towns and around interactables.

Yeah not to mention the last thing I need is another source of accidental bounties getting placed on me.

I'll never understand why they added the ability for the warden bear to have a different skin and then never took it any further. As the regular threads on the topic show there's a lot of demand for more variety of summoned pets and a lot of people willing to pay for new skins. It's a missed opportunity, especially since they've already got the tech and the UI to enable it.

I don't think that's true. One of the consequences of the Oblivion Crisis was the disbanding of the Mages Guild for fear of trafficking with Daedra, and the lore throughout the whole series since Arena describes dealing with Daedra at all as shadowy, distasteful and vile. They are essentially demons people are walking around with in the middle of the town. Good, divines-fearing townsfolk would not be comfortable with this.
I don't think moving them to a slightly different position on the screen would make much difference. The constant flapping would still be infuriating and they'd still get in the way of things, both for the sorcerer and for other players in the area.
Reinfarcements wrote: »This still needs to happen. On rare occasion when you change directions the Twilight will follow on your left side for a couple of seconds before going back to the right side. I can confirm the small amount of flap on the left side of the screen is much more tolerable than the screen full of flap on the right side.
For people who don't get it, the game is default set at over the shoulder view camera. The Twilight follows the player on the same side the camera is over the shoulder. This results in a huge wing flapping directly in your field of view. The best solution would be some sort of creature select for the summons, but swapping the Twilight and the Familiar positions would help mitigate this issue greatly in the meantime.
