Award double AP for attacking 1st place faction

There are already bonuses for being low pop or way behind in points. However, I think they need to increase the chance of these bonuses becoming active.

Low pop bonus is a reward for plying in quiet time frame of your faction. It does not direct your force to attack the 1st place faction.

The low pop bonus offers zero incentive for doing what would actually balance the competition, which is ganging up against the high pop zerg. It also seems to kick in way too late for the low pop side getting stomped, and then it persists well after populations have evened out, resulting in a skewed scoreboard, further diminishing interest in playing the campaign. There simply needs to be some mechanical incentive for players to gang up against the high pop zerg.

I like this, but with that said, there needs to be something in there at the end for the faction that wins too

but they dont give us good rewards, not counting on this either

DC Magicka Orc Necromancer climbing those ranks ...

Xylena's OP has merit but could be abused.

The main issue is campaign scoring, holding a resource for one second at "eval time" is the same as holding Drakelowe (sorry couldn't resist  ) So timing a resource raid at eval time can get enough points over a 30 day campaign to be thousands of points ahead.

I remember soloing my first resource, I got 21ap not the ridiculous amount handed out now.

We need a complete rethink of scoring and ap because they way it is now only adds to the " I don't play the map Bro" attitude.

While incentives should be put in place to have the winning faction the primary target of the triangle, I also think there should be penalties in place for a winning/dominating faction. Something basic and not overly harsh. The more property a faction owns, a rolling percentage penalty should be in place on offensive and defensive ticks.

So, the more keeps you take that are not your authentic home keeps, you incur a small percentage penalty onto AP gain via ticks. Theoretically, no matter the size of your army, owning a large amount of territory, you would be stretched thin.

I should add, this penalty on ticks would only occur for the taking and defending of non-home keeps, the penalty would not affect home keeps, to always encourage these as a priority as they should be.

This is just a directional ideal, and not something that I've thought out. I think this being just for the winning faction would be ideal.

You could also argue that having this 'fatigue' penalty, there could also be a 'morale' bonus (Morale Boost™). This would act in reverse of the above concept, but only for offensive ticks. Say EP just have Kingscrest, they re-take Farragut and receive the offensive tick plus a x% bonus increase, based on the amount of their home keeps occupied by enemy factions.

There is an argument about how this could be abused, two sets of faction players re-taking the same keep over and over. But at least with the principle ideas here, only one side would actually benefit which may not appeal to the people who would do this sort of thing.

Nah. Just evaluate low pop status more often. This suggestion is way overkill.

LOL I also made a similar suggestion but I suppose extra AP of 5% to 10% would be around the right spot...
Double AP looks too much imo...
