✭✭RNG is such a weird duck in this game, like I farmed and farmed for a BSW inferno pre-stickerbook, ended up getting two within like 5 runs when it eventually dropped. Have got another 3 since, including one that I gave to a rando in a pug who was like "Wish I could have gotten that
" when I linked it to see if anyone wanted it - didn't realise they might have thought I was flexing hahaha.
(Yes, I know I could have charged them gold for it, but ehhhhhh. Unless it's a bunch of people who all want it I'm just gonna give it to the person.)1 -

It's ridiculous the dyes you are rewarded for these achievments count as "common".
I have been complaining about this for multiple years. They dont care. I gave up getting them and they along with a small amount of pvp rank dyes are all I need.
Its really cool they made them so hard to get. I would hate to have all the common dyes so easily. /jokes....
They arent really that hard to get but you do need to focus them to finish them. I did the entire thing under the trophies achievements in 3 weeks to a month farming 1-2 hours a day most days. I think I had one or two at the beginining.
Was it a grind? Sure but most of them dropped within an hour of farming whatever it was that drops them.
I had a couple that too a couple of days to get because RNG was being stubborn but compared to most achievements, getting all trophy achievements in a month is that bad.
For the longest time I thought kwarma drops were bugged. It finally dropped by random chance once I wasn't farming them. I still need 3 dreadra, half the beasts, and every undead besides skeletons. I keep a mental list and kill all I come across when I'm doing other stuff. Still at it.
For the longest time the spiked collar and fleshy mass were bugged. So, there's a certain part of this you're not wrong about.0 -

my rarest items are due to a bug;
Lord Warden Dusk's Guise (light) cp160, Rarity grade white (normal)
and
Restoration Staff of the Red Mountain, Level 50, rarity white (normal) dropped from worldboss on a cp 160 character.
They may be worthless, but I just keep them in my bank to remind myself that this game is just one buggy mess

✭✭✭I've just started filling an art gallery floor in my house, and started looking for the Velothi Triptychs (Vvardenfell safeboxes) and Panels(Vv chests)...I'm reading online that the drop rate is criminal. I've only worked the zone a few times so far, but expect it may be months before I score one, let alone all three.
IDK if I'd even bother farming those specifically. For the past year or so I've taken 3+ toons on a quick lockbox run in Vvardenfell every day after their writs and found exactly one of the triptychs. I think they're for sale in the crown store for much, much cheaper, unless the ones from the lockboxes are different.
I haven't tried farming it, but I reallllllllly want the Sixth House Banner from Forgotten Wastes. May take a character in there with a 150% XP boost and farm mobs while listening to a podcast...Edited by SidraWillowsky on 14 March 2021 15:120 -

Apparently the best place to farm these are Bonesnap ruins. There are a few blue ones (benches, I think) and 3 very rare purples - two bookcases and a brazier.
I did a handful of Bonesnap runs with no luck, but TBH I don't really feel like wasting much time on these as they're not very good-looking, and I'd struggle to find any use for them even if I did get them. I mean, why would I want to turn any of my houses to look like like every third delve in the game?2 -

DKS has a bow, and I have it in collections so I've gotten it since Markarth. Sorry about your luck there.
VIpers Sting does not have a bow, as the 5th piece bonus is only activated by a melee attack. So that one you won't be able to get no matter how much farming you do.0 -

There are chest spawns next to all of the bosses in Arx. Don't miss out on them. I was recently farming the inferno staff and my partner has the glow from Antiquities (very useful and you should use it if you can). We found a lot more chest spawns than we had originally thought.
Also always check the tower at the end after the last boss and the area in front of the ruined tower at the entrance, lot of chest spawns there too.1
