Seeing as you want to continue with the circus show until September, can you at LEAST start balancing out each class so they don't need to depend on proc sets regardless if it is a conditional or damage set. Mag Dk's Need some help stop ignoring us!!

I’m all for improving the toolsets of classes where needed! :) Proc sets or no, IMHO no class should depend on them!

That's the problem they allowed some classes to HAVE to rely on proc sets, and knowing how this company does business they won't do anything about it either for a very long time, or not at all.

He has a point. Earlier today o took my stamcro to cyrodill to get to tier 1. I was kinda worried because he was wearing widowmaker and sheer venom but when a DK jumped me while taking a resource I realized he couldn't hurt me as long as I used a couple defensive abilities. I somewhat ignored him as he kept beating on me while I ran to the next resource. Eventually I caught him with a blast bones, dawnbreaker, whirlwind combo. I have hardly ever pvped with this character and it was easy. My point is some classes perform much better then others when you limit sets.

I think procs is how ZOS tries to balance the game. Just my opinion but I get the impression that they have given up trying to balance classes and use mythics/procs as a way for us to plug in holes in our builds. It just doesn't work for me though because I don't like relying on procs. I prefer stat based gameplay.

I have yet to see a good no-proc build for Magicka Necromancer, and that's even when using a more strict definition of "proc," rather than ZOS' more expansive "any set which requires a check of any sort whatsoever." With the current test, you can't even get the silly levels of spike damage on Blastbones via Master Destruction Staff, Clever Alchemist, Succession, etc...Stamina builds can do just fine with nothing but Ultimate + Spammable + Blastbones for their offense, but the same isn't true for Magicka.

And that's the biggest lesson that I hope ZOS is learning from this current test; class balance in PvP is very bad, and has been for a long time. Stamina builds can be very strong both with and without procs, but non-Sorcerer Magicka builds are mostly trash without certain sets to crutch on (and even with said crutch, they're generally worse than their Stamina counterparts).

That's my thing as well why should I HAVE to equip proc sets to compete with other classes who really don't need them!

It's just disrespectful at this point on how BAD class imbalance truly is.

The best solution (both fair and quick) is to exclude imbalanced classes from cyrodiil for 6 months.

My guess would be, that this is exactly the reason why they keep procs switched off.
If you want to introduce a new skillsystem for all classes (CP 2.0) you would then have to turn off as much variables as possible to work on class balance. You have to switch off as much sets as possible.

In order to get this through to the community, you will have to find an excuse. Do a 3 week test before you introduce the new CP system and tell the community the limited set offer will continue, because everyone was so happy with how the playstyle was during the test.

Viola, perfect test conditions for class balance for full 6 months.
