rare items that elude you

There are a number of items in the game that are rare. Some of those are rare by design, eg. aetheric cipher. Others are seemingly rare through an error (like the Khajit Brazier, Enchanted praxis). And then there are items that, while not common, don't sound like they should be all that elusive, but you just never get one.
For me an example of that last category are dwarven construct repair parts. I have never once had one drop for me, despite multiple hours spent in dwarven ruins chasing precursor parts, ebon wolf leads, and the like. If I hadn't seen them in guild stores, I wouldn't have believed they exist.

Huh, so maybe that's where the ones from guild stores come from. I suppose they might not be dropping in dwarven dungeons because of some loot table error, then. I'm pretty sure the training dummy recipes that require them were introduced long before HoF, so the trial shouldn't be the only source...0 -

Any piece of vampiric furniture that isn't those gigantic drapes. They don't even fit in my house. I just gave up bought the crafting recipe for one of the book cases and I regret nothing.3 -

Hisa Ni Caemaire - Altmer Sorceress, member of the Order Draconis and Adept of the House of Dibella.
Broken Branch Toothmaul - goblin (for my goblin characters, I use either orsimer or bosmer templates) Templar, member of the Order Draconis and persistently unskilled pickpocket
Mol gro Durga - Orsimer Socerer/Battlemage who died the first time when the Nibenay Valley chapterhouse of the Order Draconis was destroyed, then went back to Cold Harbor to rescue his second/partner who was still captive. He overestimated his resistance to the hopelessness of Oblivion, about to give up, and looked up to see the golden glow of atherius surrounding a beautiful young woman who extended her hand to him and said "I can help you". He carried Fianna Kingsley out of Cold Harbor on his shoulder. He carried Alvard Stower under one arm. He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.***Order Draconis - well c'mon there has to be some explanation for all those dragon tattoos.
House of Dibella - If you have ever seen or read "Memoirs of a Geisha" that's just the beginning...
Nibenay Valley Chapterhouse - Where now stands only desolate ground and a dolmen there once was a thriving community supporting one of the major chapterhouses of the Order Draconis1 -

It's ridiculous the dyes you are rewarded for these achievments count as "common".[Lie] Of course! I don't even worship Daedra!22 -

I have been complaining about this for multiple years. They dont care. I gave up getting them and they along with a small amount of pvp rank dyes are all I need.
Its really cool they made them so hard to get. I would hate to have all the common dyes so easily. /jokes....2 -

✭Perfected VMA bow... Aetheric Cipher... I'd say Aetherial Dust, except three have dropped for me in Rivenspire over the years, the most recent 2 nights ago. Ayeleid plans - never seen one. And some of the monster collectibles - I think I'm down to 5 now but just can't get them to drop.
