✭Those God Like builds just exploit Procs in any possible way. The next few weeks from 15th february on will show who the skilled players are and who got carried by procs.
In the end Procs don't need to be adjusted themselves, they are pretty balanced in their own boundaries, the only thing that has to change is Malacath, and not even in percent or anything, just the exclusion of Procs would be enough. So you can't crit and deal 25% more damage with everything except Procs. That alone would reduce the effectiveness of Procs by at least 25% with just a slight change to one single Item and solve a lot of problems with the current Meta.Edited by L_Nici on 12 February 2021 14:26PC|EU0 -

OP, you're coming from the mindset and effort of an amateur.
That is not meant to be insulting, its just stating that your knowledge of the game is in the beginner realm.
Think of PvP as like leaning towards more end game PvE.
In PvE in most instances, you can get away with not using the correct food, amateur gear and poor rotations. But as you start trying to do harder content (Vet dungeons, Trials etc) it becomes more clear that you need to start spending hours of research and build testing to get better.
PvP is exactly like end game PvE. You need to have the best gear, rotations, food etc to be competitive. JUST LIKE IN REAL LIFE! Liken it to playing sports. If your team does not train, have access to quality gear and knowledge, you're gonna get steam rolled. Same thing in PvP.
OR, think of it like playing chess. You wouldnt show up to a chess tournament to pit your skills and knowledge against professionals if your only experience is playing your grandma on the weekends.
PvP is not overworld content, where you can just light attack your way to victory. Im not sure why you think that, or why you're confused you get smashed.Edited by Sungod on 12 February 2021 15:055 -
HiImRex✭✭✭✭✭I play with and against these "god-like" players and kill them/are killed by them all the time.
Also, PC/NA everyone including the large-group players are wearing crimson, vat weapons, heavy attack builds, unleashed terror, running meta wardens and necros with 40k HP.
If 1 group running "god-like" builds can consistently win against a larger group running "god-like" builds, that is simple proof that skill matters.
But the frustration of the OP is understandable. The main issue is that building for the meta is the starting point for PvP, just as it is in PvE.
There's no point in practicing PvE rotations with a bad bar setup with bad gear.
Likewise, there's no point in practicing your PvP skills with bad bar setup and bad gear.
Put some time in, put on a build that can deal with the current meta, and then get stomped with the full confidence that from this point on, everything that happens is a learn2play problem.

It would be like a rec league hockey player dropping in on an NHL team's scrim, and expecting to just net in 6 goals like nobody's business. Aint gonna happen lol. I guess people just expect to show up with no preparation or learning, and to just immediately do as well as people who spent years preparing and learning.3 -

Never been entirely sure what a statement like this actually means...
Are you saying that the classes and/or abilities are not balanced?
- Because everyone can make the same class with the same abilities with the same gear and thus would be "balanced," and if they did you would never see a 1v10 clip (outside of horrendous PvE players.... which is what I think this is)
Are you saying that a player can choose subpar options when equipping gear etc and that's not balanced?
- Good, players should have the ability to make mistakes and be subpar due to it
I dont quite understand; as long as everyone has the same access to creating characters there should be "balance" the lack thereof would and should be due to human failure both on creation and implementation2 -

We have op classe like stamwarden and stamnecro
We have op sets.
But one bad player with stamcro the bests sets and skills will lose for a good player with a magblade with no procs.
But if you put then in the same situation, class, gear and everything the good player will destroy the bad players.
I see guys with 1800 CP in Cyrodill, really doesn't make any sense a guy with 600 CP or PVEr thinking that will kill the other guy. We are talking about years and years of experience.1 -
Volckodav✭✭✭Main on is that all theses noob are craving for an easy kill they cannot legitimately have in 1v1 so they chase in group, and while doing that they forget to buff, so hit less and take more damage. So just break los, charge ulti while kitting and then burst them on a corner. Works since the beginning of cyro. And theses pugs they think they fight u 10v1 bur around a corner that became 1v1, and u are ready where they are not so they get rekt again...and they crying in some chat and forum0
