Life after hitting 50

I'm just a notch away from level 50 and I was wondering how have you other 50s spent your gaming time?
I mean if you need veteran rank 10 for Craglorn and all, so how do you guys spend the time gathering more veteran ranks? are the master dungeons working well atm?
I heard from a couple of guildies that the veteran rank is very slow in building up, so I guess it's gonna mean loads of grinding to get to 10?

I just hit vet 1 yesterday and the xp jumps to needing somthing like 456k to get to vet 2 and it does seem slow im finding it hard to find people willing to run around with me and do bosses and such as they are much too difficult for a lonesome Dragonknight like myself so ive been grinding a dungeon trying to get to vet 2

456K xp per vet rank...hmm that's alot of mudcrabs to grind through ;)

You'll notice that you won't be able to take on 8 enemies at once like you could at lower levels.
Gear progression slows down significantly as well, and you'll want to start looking into upgrading your armor to Superior blue strength.
Ingredients for crafting Armor and Weapons become much more valuable, so they're really worth picking up at VR1 and above.
Playing with other people dramatically increases how quickly and effectively you train, so I highly recommend that.

I'd suggest looking into training your Undaunted skill line.

Can you choose which faction you want to quest in when reaching veteran levels?

I hit VT1 yesterday and when finishing of my main story quest I was brought to Stonefalls aka Ebonheart area so I have a feeling you can't choose for example Daggerfall, maybe that's the next area after you finish Ebnheart quests?

I managed to get about 120k VT points going around doing public dungeons, skyshards etc with guildies in a 4ppl group in Stonefalls only for about couple of hours. Seems not that bad actually, but we did have this moment in one skull&bones area where there was loads of ppl just grinding some spider mobs for ages :D got loads of gear etc when staying there for about 15min or more. Not my type of grinding for long run but I guess it's aight every now and then.
Tried Fungal Grotto with everyone being VT1 rank and we couldn't get pass third mob xD mobs there was VT2-4 so I guess need to go back there a bit later :P

And yeah if you haven't played in groups while leveling to 50, I also will recommend to get on it now if you ever dream of doing adventure zones. Being able to play in a group and as a group will come a lot more important after 50 for sure.

What happens to unfinished quests in your original alliance and in Coldharbor? There are some things I want to wrap up after certain bugs/server issues are fixed.

I guess you can just wait for them to get fixed at some point and do them no matter how long after? I never went back to do the quest on the boat that bugged nor have I been wondering about it either really.

But I gotta say this life after hitting 50 is a bit tedious sometimes. Unless you run doing public dungeons and skull&swords etc in a group, the veteran rank levels up reeeeally slowly. Been doing only the Ebonheart first areas for days now and some ganking and skyharding in Cyrodiil and I'm finally now almost hitting VT4, it takes about 1.30mil veteran points from 3-4. So compared to the group running thing where I gained first couple VT ranks in a matter of hours, this normal questing a)takes long time to get VT up b)can be hard with multiple mobs if you run alone, totally different than when leveling from 1-50.

You dont get veterans points for doing public dungeons or skull level elites. You only get them from veterans dungeons and turning in quests.

I guess one good thing to spice things up is doing dungeons but they are really challenging and you should not even go in unless you're VT2-3 cos the mobs are VT3-5 and as a VT1 you probly can't get pass mobs (speaking from experience lol). We have downed 3 bosses in Banished Cells earlier and must say they are a nice challenge and need some tactic figuring out at some parts so it's a big thumbs up when compared to normal dungeons where the mechanics are pretty much 'kills the adds and then kill the boss' :P So I truly can't wait for Craglorn, it must be awesome.

Anyone done anything Craglorn yet btw? would be nice to hear some comments or anything :)
