Chances of getting high level materials from dailies,

Hi there 
Do you think there is a higher chance of getting yellow materials from Crafting Writs (daily) if you have maxed skilled in the craft skill line
- or can you get as much % chance of getting such good rewards even when you are low level for that particular craft type ?
Has anyone provided some comparative analysis with a good n sample ?

tmbrinks also suggest that low craft skill will give no reward or less chances, anyone can confirm ? or tell how much ?

✭✭✭✭✭Low level writs appear to only give about a 3% chance of dropping a high level material (from an small sample size). This is from data collected when I was leveling the alt account that now does max level writs.

I think you may be on to something. I often get 1 or 2 in a single piece of mail, but to the best of my knowledge I've never gotten 4.
