The biggest fallacies in this thread are the ideas that good powerlevelers are 'top players' and that zerging equals good pvp tactics and coordination. The only thing going on here is that some players have gobs more time than others, and thus better stats and gear. It will even out...and then the fun begins.

PvP right now is mainly for those who like to compete with an advantage over their opponent, with a few altruistic warriors trying to kill the powerlevelers who have math on their side for the moment. When the gear differences are small, then we will see who the real pvpers are...

I say who cares... To each their own.. If someone or groups of people want to rush to end game and dominate for a bit so be it, there is positives and negatives to each way to play..

I am in the enjoy the world game camp, I only play one avatar and I do everything with him. I was in beta and knew of some easy ways of leveling only for testing purposes. When I started I "choose" not to pursue this course for I wanted to enjoy the game slowly at a normal pace..

Their style is to power level and miss a lot of content and other things perhaps they just don't care about.. They could be all about PVP, but then they also suffer because Realm VS Realm will not really get good to a larger majority of players are at end game..

My style is to go slow, but the negative to this is that I have hard time keeping friends or others to play with.. They usually out level me and I am solo once again.. But I am okay with it. One thing I like about the game is I can solo and get fun within a hour or 2 span of time, this is great for all of us adults who have to work and have life priorities.

The question is, who really cares? Lol. When the power curve evens out and more people hit VR5+, these dudes will get crushed. Same crap happened in Swtor, Gw2, etc etc. Once everyone catches up, they won't be very impressive.

Every mmo I've ever played (and I've played a lot!) always has a fair number of players who seem to hit max level and max everything within a very short space of time after release.

Nothing unusual there, but what is strange, and seems to happen every time, is that 2 to 3 months in and most of them are gone. This has happened in every mmo I've played

I can only assume that, having thrown in 16 hours a day or whatever for several weeks, that these guys inevitably burn out in a short space of time, and come to hate the object of their obsession. A lot of them do seem to go through a weird phase of self-loathing, which they then redirect at the very game that's destroyed a part of their lives.
