"Please give us the ability to turn off daily rewards"
You already have that ability. Just don't click the link to accept them when you log in. Keep doing that (ignoring the link) every time you log in. You will never get a daily reward.

Not so much complaining about being given something for free, more looking for the ability to opt out. That's quite different.

haha what a load of crap. They usually give something interesting like a crate or something, and at one stage they actually gave decent rewards to reward players. Now they just punish players for logging in, what does that say about the devs?
It says absolutely nothing about the devs. The marketing department however...
yes it does, it means the devs are content to sit back and go along with everything the marketing department does to ruin the game. Why don't we hear about the devs standing up for themselves instead of just accepting this marketing crap that's driving the game into the ground?

That's frustrating and no solution, you get offered it each time you log in a character. If it was accompanied by "Don't ask me again" that would be fine. I get four such invites with two accounts and playing on two servers, it would be good to be able to limit it as required.
It's a simple Quality of Life improvement, but for some reason a lot of players only want those when they enable them to avoid playing the game, rather than when all they want to do is avoid being offered extra things they don't want or need.

OK. I see it as something that happen in real life quite often. People "offer" you stuff that you may or may not want. I see the ability to ignore the offers you do not want as a life skill. We have a difference of opinion here.

well, you're not a good person are you, I didn't ask you to respond, but you just had to go tapping away on your keyboard. The question is directed at ZoS. You have no say at all.

It's people like you that think that you have the right to insult other players that bring the game down.
It seems like login rewards are a lose/lose situation for ZOS, at least in terms of forum feedback. Literally anything except crown crates is met with long topics about how it's all trash (including 100k gold, which was both hugely exciting and controversial because so many people were sure if would destroy the economy the first time they did it). Crown crates get a positive reaction until players get to open them, then there's a long thread about how everything in them is trash and not worth having.
So it looks like no matter what they give us it's trash and some very vocal players would prefer not to have it.
If they were going off forum feedback I think the only options at this point would be to either make it the same stuff every month so at least it's not worth repeating the same complaints about how much you don't want it, or removing them completely and going back to no login rewards.
Please give us the ability to turn off daily reward
AefionBloodclaw wrote: »Now they just punish players for logging in
If I could ignore the offers that would be fine, it's all that is being suggested. Take skill points in the crown store for example, I can ignore those totally by choosing not to look at them. However, the login rewards can't be ignored as they have to be accepted or repeatedly declined. Where, from your perspective (as opposed to the marketing team's) is the problem in making their display optional?
Thevampirenight wrote: »Could just avoid it and not use or interact with it you don't have to claim the dailies but some of the dailies are very useful. Its your loss. But well that is up to you. They don't need to have an option to turn it off since its an optional system. If you don't interact with it you get no benefit from it. So you can just ignore it and pretend its not there.

Thats nothing new, so I literally do not get why one must start the new year at seven in the morning with a complaining thread about it, and answer every post of other users with a variation of "ZOS don't listen". New years resolution: "Complaining more about inconsequential things and ZOS-bashing in the forum as a new hobby"? First world problem.
Needs like an ESO break would be a good new years resolution in such a case.
well, it's not actually 7am due to your unthinking discrimination, and yeah it's people like you that turn off the veterans. So I think I may stop posting here because instead of people understanding the issue all they do is bash people who are genuinely trying to make ZoS listen to the players instead of being ignored.
"Listen to the players". Damn near every post is in disagreement with you. Seems they are listening to the players, just not the ones who feel like you?
that seems to be the issue for you.
obviously you have no idea what you're talking about. They don't listen to the players, otherwise the numerous post like this wouldn't be made.
Just because they don’t do what you suggest doesn’t mean they’re not listening.
Listening does not imply/involve any action will be taken.
If ZOS didn’t listen to players we would not have had Necros and dragons and we would not be going to Skyrim.
Ummm the fact that we're going to Skyrim is because they didn't listen to the players...

I agree, daily login rewards are, with no insult to the devs intended, pathetic.
Not only that, but they want you to jump through hoops by typing DESTROY in all caps and confirming before you can get the trash potions, poisons, food, etc out of your inventory.
How about a simple "Thanks, but no thanks" button on the giant nag screen ad that you have to get rid of before you can play? Log in noted, but "reward" declined, 16 hours to next opportunity, done.
