Best way to get Jewelry Crafting platings?

If you happen to play a lot of pvp and have some AP in the bank. Go to cropsford and buy ancient grace containers, I usually get around 80% purple jewelry and the rest are weapons I Decon as well. That way I have over 100 purple plaitings in my crafting bag.

Otherwise it's farming dolmens, dragon's or geysers and doing writs.

It's still slow going at times.. a couple of days went past doing 15 JC writs per day with no surveys dropping... makes me start to re-think my bad life decisions

But today... HAPPY DAY... 7 surveys in one day!! O JOY!

Slowly, but surely, getting the improvement mats I need !

The best would be if ZOS modified the jewelry crafting so it would be about as difficult and expensive as armor / weapon crafting. The prices of plating (derived from the difficulty to obtain) are ridiculous.

At Summerset launch they explained that they wanted to make it more difficult to upgrade jewelry so they don't degrade the value of gold jewelry obtained from other sources like the Golden vendor, veteran trial, and PvP leaderboards.
