Uppercut now has a 0.8s cast time in place.

"Uppercut:
Reduced the cast time of this ability and its morphs to 0.8 seconds from 1 second to help its reliability when being used in fast combat in melee range."

Is there any plan to give Puncturing Strikes (and morphs), Solar Flare (and Dark Flare morph) and Snipe (and morphs) the same treatment? Both have the same issue as Uppercut of not being weavable within a 1s window even with the timing changes in Elsweyr.

    So we're also giving uppercut 41 meter range according to your rules of ''consistency''? Don't compare a melee ability with a ranged one.

    Firstly, Puncturing Strikes is melee. Secondly, all the abilities I listed had their cast times reduced to 1s in Elsweyr with the post cooldown supposedly removed but all had issues with timing when weaving because animatons overran etc. I'm not suggesting anything about relative strength, I would just like to see everything that was designed to be usable and weaveable in 1s be usable and weaveable within 1s.

    For context, from the 5.0.5 notes:

    Snipe:
    Reduced the cast time of this ability and its morphs to 1 second from 1.1 seconds.

    Puncturing Strikes: Reduced the channel time for this ability and its morphs from to 1 seconds from 1.1 seconds. Praise the sun for whole numbers!

    Solar Flare:
    Reduced the cast time from this ability and the Dark Flare morph to 1 second from 1.1 seconds.

    All already supposed to be usable in a second but not currently working as intended. Not sure what the rationale is for these three all to be left while Uppercut is fixed.
