Do I need to craft?

I honestly never was into crafting in any game I played.. It's just boring.. Do I need to level crafting in this game to obtain the best gear?

No, you don't need it per se. There are no crafted items that are bound to the crafter. Everything can be bought.

Short answer...no. You can play just fine using only drops from kills. At high levels you can just buy gear from crafters. I don't think the game was even designed around assuming everyone wants to craft.

Crafting makes things easier IMO, and I like not being dependent on other players or random chance.

No. You can pay us crafters for your gear.

The game was designed around only the most dedicated people getting all the traits in their chosen craft and maxing out their craft XP.

Crafting an option, not needed, you can gather all the materials and sell them for quick gold. I would suggest trying the crafting, it's not quite like other games.
