Don't tell me that's an unreal assumption.
"[...]arguing about the price"So you have accepted the principle of P2W.
Now all we are doing is arguing the price.
This is an abomination. It should either be free (like all your characters inheriting your highest CP level) or it shouldn’t be done.

Lol, the community in no position to even remotely to "discuss" about how something to be priced. I've said it before and I say it again, the devs and mods are not your friends or colleagues, no matter how casual they talk and answer to the community.
Whatever you're thinking is fair, it will be double or triple that.
ZOS will want to make significant profit from this.
The potential for revenue is huge.
It is sad to see the direction the game is taking.
Skill points for money.
Skill points = power.
It will be much better if ZOS will give an in-game free/gold option to buy the Skyshards(if previously unlocked) and not by crown store exclusive.
The addition of Skyshards to the crown store is just the beginning, maxed skill lines are next.
I wonder how much time will pass until the maxed Undaunted skill line will be available for a second character at 20,000 crowns LOL

What has this game become?

Wonder what they will push into the cash shop after this. Slowly entering pay-to-win territory and people seem to be ok with it.

I find it funny that the mountain skyshard is left out. It's almost like it's there to mock the players who don't want to go into Cyrodiil. You can run one character through each of the Alliances to get around the gate lockout, but then there is this one sky shard still left. You don't really need it, though you would pay to avoid send a dozen characters out there manually to get it, only you can't.

A skill point is worth about 0.20-0.25 cents to me. At that price, we easily reach 35$+, I don't think it's unreasonable.
At 1.5k Crowns per zone, it's over for me lol. The dream dies forever......
Well, the thing is, a lot of people (myself included), DON'T want skyshards account-wide (though we are fine with an account-wide tab for achievements that still preserves individual characters' achievements as they are).
If ZOS wants to offer the "account-wide" crowd an option to purchase skyshards they have already acquired once, I'm fine with that as long as the price reflects the value of the in-game time required to achieve that.

Who cares? You can still do it for free, if you are willing to grind. People that are happy to pay, can do so. It really shouldn't be anyone's business either way - the end result is the same.
Wish people would stop being salty about this! ZOS is a business - they are in the business to make money, so you can be sure they will do that. Just as the company you and I work for.
