I have my enchanting level maxed out to 50, I am wondering where to put my skill points to get Kutas drops from the reward crate. Do I put them in all in Aspect improvement or Potency improvement? The reason why I am asking is cuz i'm tight on skill points..
Potency Improvement. That should be 10/10, then you will be doing 'max level' writs, which gives you the best chance of getting Kuta. The points in Aspect doesn't affect the drop rate AFAIK
To get better chances for the quality mats you put points in extraction skill for any crafting type.It affects harvesting, decon, and drops in boxes, etc.

I’m skeptical of this claim without any evidence to back it up.
For enchanting, I’m willing to bet it only effects your chance of returning materials from deconstructing glyphs.
For material crafting, the passive increases material return from deconstruction and the quality/quantity of tempers/trait/style mats you get from refining as well. Nothing in my years of crafting experience has shown any improvement to number of items gained from harvesting nodes (though a CP passive can double your node harvest) nor from writ rewards boxes. (Nor hirelings since that would be the next logical claim.)
If you have empirical evidence to affirm your claim or some quote from ZOS pointing to this fact I will retract my doubt, but until then.......
Edit for autocorrect changing node to nose. Funny, but detracts from seriousness of message.
