Welkynar Motif Fragments/Bindings Drops Need Some Attention.

I have run NCR a ton of times at this point. Have around 30 bindings and just finally got 10 fragments to make one welkynar motif. Of course it was far easier to just buy the book from crown store. So almost a year out and only one motif. Why does it have to be such a grind?

It's only a grind if you're doing it on Normal. Clearing vet +3 gives you 10 fragments and a binding in a coffer. Yes, there is only a small percentage of people who could clear vCR +3 to do that, but the opportunity was there. (In vet, +0 gave 2, +1 gave 4?, +2 gave 6 or 8, I can't remember)

Secondly, it's freaking expensive to do progression runs in vet trials, was nice to get some money back by being able to sell some motifs to pay for all those potions, gear upgrades, etc...

Thirdly, they'll be dropping in the anniversary boxes with the next event. They'll become plentiful and plummet in price.

Finally, I'd personally rather have the Welkynar "grind" over the RNG "grind" that was Buoyant Armiger motifs

nCR+3 gives 1 ticket. do that alot. it's just as easy as ncr+0 tbh

I'd argue that vCR +0 is just as easy as nCR +3, but those side bosses are pesky

Should have put out the “on console” disclaimer.

Here, you have to have a pretty darn good group to attempt + anything. Even on normal. Vet progressions seem to last long enough for people to get their one clear, then they stop. Like no one is doing +3. Maybe the scoreboard setters come over, do one. Then head back to PC.

These motif pages are available in three ways. Either run it on vet, preferably +3, buy them from people that do, or get it from the crown store (buy or gift).

If you pretend they don't actually drop on normal at all, you might feel better. The normal drops are just a troll anyway as you've found out. There is no way it's worth your time to farm them on normal. If you're not capable or unable to find a group for vet, your only real option is to buy them in some way.

There is a 4th way to get those and also other Motifs >>> Anniversary-Event Jubilee Boxes..! That Event happens once every year and tonns of pages from Motifs will flood the market...

This Thursday (4th April) this years Anni-Event will start and it will last for 5 weeks… I am not sure if we will be only able to get Motifs during the 1st Week through Crafting Dailies or over the whole 5 week Duration... As far as I read it, it should be over the whole 5 weeks duration of the Event
