Why Make a Major Change on a Crown Store Cosmetic?

A Crown Store cosmetic is a PAID cosmetic item and doesn't need any nerfs... People pay for it and you shouldn't make drastic changes on them unless they cause a problem.

The Dwarf-Style Brow Shields were visible with most of other headwear and it looked really nice in my opinion. It didn't even have any clipping issues.

However they're no longer visible since the Wrathstone update. Why would you even make a change like this? This was my favorite cosmetic item. I think I should send a ticked and ask for a refund on my Crown Gems...

Now it's just not visible at all.

I thought ZOS had a policy against making changes to released cosmetics. They said they had learned from the redguard shirt fiasco.

Way to ruin another adornment ZOS.

Um. That's really strange. I put them on a khajiit after the update, and they showed up just fine. Didn't like them on her after all, but still....

You can't really go and show a picture with clipping issues and then say there were no clipping issues.
It looks like they fixed some of the clipping issues on heavier armors. But it does still clip on a number of light armor pieces so there's likely still work to be done.

Unless it's obviously wrong, which in a case of an adornment (lower layer) clipping through armor (upper layer) would be.

I think I tried it with hoods too and no, it's not visible with any headwear. Before the patch, it wasn't visible with many headwear that would cause serious clipping issues. It was visible with many headwear and looked fine. However there is no serious clipping with this helmet in particular. If you consider this screenshot clipping, 90% of the outfits have clipping issues.

Yeah sorry I didn't even realize that this is my 3rd post, I was thinking that this was the second one. That's how it feels like when you boot up the game after an update, only to find out that the favorite aspect of your outfit no longer exists.

Mods please feel free to delete my previous threads about the topic.

I regret creating a thread anyway, the only answers ZoS provide here are "We had to remove some of the offensive/derailing comments" etc.

Brow shields have been borked since the Outift system was added last year. It was supposed to be fixed now but I guess they are still working on it.

Hey how about deleting the adornment completely, it even clips through hair. I mean this looks really bad right? It's not healthy for the game. Probably decreases the performance too, it's also probably one of the reasons of huge lag in Cyrodiil. Yeah sorry guys for making the game unplayable for everyone. This major clipping issue had to be fixed. I mean it's not like there are more important issues in the game for years, like players feared by a CoH II boss running into the wall and getting stuck inside, 80% of the time? Yeah let's ruin adornments.
