Yep, been playing a Magika Sorcerer since I started playing. I can't bring myself to level a new character, every time I try I remember how much I hate the main story.

At my skill level I'm not even sure I can tell there has been a nerf with the recent batch. I think that is true of most players. Some of the high end players will probably notice a difference but they are playing content at a level where a split second makes a difference. For the rest of us I don't think has any significant impact on our ability to complete content.

I said yes but it’s only somewhat true. I’ve always enjoyed dps and healing, in pvp as a magblade I’ve moved more to the tank and healing role. I stick with the same character, but change the way I play it.

Yes, I'm not going to chase meta, but I have 30+ characters with 24 at CP cap. I pretty much have all combinations covered, but I love playing the underdog. Tell me "Race attClass" is garbage and I'm probably going to go play it for a bit. I'll play whatever I feel like playing in the moment and for whatever content I want to run; though I don't take under-performing chars into vet trials or pledges, because that's just not fair to the group.

Played MagSorc for a couple of years now, we keep getting nerfed over and over again but I cant let years of achievements and progress go to waste, I would rather quit for a while and come back when the game is better.

For me, it's not about the class but about the character. I have multiple characters of all the classes and I play whichever character that I feel like adventuring with.

In PvP I usually play against the meta, countering it, finding its weakness.

PVE I usually have a main character or two and play them. I don't hardcore raid anymore so almost anything goes at the level I enjoy playing at now. I sometimes play another class for a break from the main, these are the only ones who might play meta builds because it takes less trying out/testing.

Bugs have been more of a reason for me to drop a class, nerfs can usually be worked around (or in many cases justified).

This poll clearly reveals the problem with the feedback from these forums. If you don't play at least some of the other classes, your view of balance is through tinted glasses.

"THEY" are always OP, while YOUR stuff needs buffs. Spend some time playing more than just one class (play at least 3) and you will get a more realistic view regarding the state of the game.

Yeah, but not with a smile on my face. I hate the changes they made that effect magsorcs. I have 15 other characters, which I use only for casual play, and honestly they all have better damage, damage mitigation, and resource management then my main magsorc. I just put up with it, because there's really nothing I can do about it.

I would care to disagree that this polls shows such because there are people, like me, who main and love my Mageblade regardless of nerfs BUT.....I play other characters but don't play them because they are the META at the time. I care to disagree with a lot of the complaints on the forums about nerfing stuff and imho, they have no idea what they are talking about most of the time. Every time someone complains about cloak on a nightblade, I want to write an essay and compare defense skills between each classes and what is easily available to counter them and what gives extra/bonus buffs in other ways...or tell them to play a nightblade and use cloak and then tell me how OP it is as a defense strategy.

This choice isnt entirely true. My main is an Imperial DK tank and always will be regardless, but I will play other things...however, not a single one is based on the meta(even when the meta was Imperial DK tank for the most popular tank, that was just the meta aligning with what I always tanks as anyway)

I have one of everything, they're all fun in their own way. I used to play WoW and they nerfed CONSTANTLY but they nerfed classes straight into the ground where they were practically unplayable. In this game they don't seem nearly as bad about over-nerfing so I'll live with it.

I only play my main, who is a melee magblade.

I wanted to try other classes, but i don't like playing them. Haven't tried DK though and might try a stam DK someday.

But i think i try necromancer before that.

I play whatever I feel like playing. I can perform whatever role I need without much issue. With that said, I do have some min/max spec builds because it's easier.

I don't ever meta switch, I MIGHT change like, one armor set if it's nerfed into the dirt but that's only happened once, usually I just roll with the nerfs and make it work.

I make characters I like and want to play, and then when I log in I pick whichever one I feel like playing. I don't tend to worry about what random people on the internet have declared to be good this month and I wouldn't change any of my characters race or class just because someone tells me it's not popular. If I was going to do that I'd rather make a new character because it would make them a completely different person, and if I was starting over every time someone decides a new class is best I'd never get anywhere.

That assumption only works if you assume everyone replying only ever plays 1 character. I've got 7 (1 templar, 1 warden, 2 nightblades, 2 dragon knights, 1 sorcerer) and I know some people have all their character slots filled and play all of them.

Just because someone doesn't follow the meta doesn't mean they never play other classes, it just means they choose what to play at any given time instead of letting someone else do it for them.

2 healer(templar+nb)

I play all of them depending of how i feal that day
