Hey guys, i decide to make some builds for PvP MagSorc and stuck with 2 options with frontbar fire staff. Whats better will be Nirnhoned trait or infused? They both seems pretty decent. So whats better in ur opinion?

This. As long as you are regularly doing damage from weapon skills and basic attacks. It is why you sometimes see players just doing a series of light attacks as they do decent damage and they will proc the enchant constantly.

Infused. Sharpened isnt bad either, if weaving isnt your thing or lag sucks. Percise if using crit surge and your heals with crit for 1.5-1.6 modifer which is still strong.

Nirn on staff is terrble all around; you only reach the dmg that equates to a 2h sword traited without nirn. Unless you have front bar heals and your pen is good.

Yea but staff does something stamina weapons ca cannot; have light armor for 4-5k penetration and all of its attack deal 10% penetration (including the light/heavy attacks). Therefore it's safe to assume, that stacking penetrtion is what mag builds do best.

Remember physical is harder to stack, most builds can be at spell resist cap.

Depends. I like nirnhoned staff when using poisons. But if you want to use dmg en enchants, infused is superior.

Is this true with stamina as well? Bow for example

bow kinda needs penetration/defile. It doesn't have the weapon damage to compete with the other weapons and it doesn't have the penetration like light armor has. That's why snipe has major defile and the poison status effect.

You probably will be going sharpened+lady mundas+spriggans if you want to roll the psijic order spamable instead of snipe in pvp. Also bow heavy attack damage is better than the other weapons. The new arena weapon does give you access to a range style dot on your main cc and draining shot costs dirt but still lets you have a 10k tooltip dmg.

short answer; sharpened for bow because you need every source of penetration as a bow user and nirn is similar to staff in that your weapon's dmg isnt high like 2h or DW swords.

Console players have this unhealthy obsession with stat sheets. It's the MMO equivalent of taking a selfie at an angle to hide your double chin.
