I keep up with the forum and am ingame most days but Im a very casual player and just derp around half the time, so the hints and interesting stuff from the forums comes in handy when I finally get around to running quests, tackling content, learning lore, player guilds, PvP, crafting, etc. The forums make the game feel more dynamic and interesting.Master Craftsman!0 -

The last year i have been quite frustrated mainly due to balance issues with MagSorc. Lamenting the loss of decent Frag, and MagDW death, and this odd direction making sorcs tank and wet.

As for me, sometimes the threads here are more interesting than game itself, or maybe I just like to see what our community thinks? Tbh no clue at all why but I keep coming for more, recently I just wanted to voice my disappointment in ZOS creating another home for crowns (snowglobe) which should be a reward for event hard work, crystalfrost not changing your hair which is causing your character to either go bald or keep having hair despite being walking ice statue or wearing hair covering hoods/caps, voicing my anger at zos for creating pet and mount worth 300 and 600 crown gems (seriously they should think more before creating such obvious cash grab), voicing my opinion on how the frost staves should be remade because now they are kinda not so good.
Oh wow it seems I only complain here ... Well that shows that something is wrong with the game

at first it was to watch other people communicate, to see how they mentally process the different game systems. but now that's been accomplished.
then i wanted to help people where i could, read some jokes and try to be funny myself, basically chase some stars.
but now the forum just feels like a bunch of whining. i see a lot of people just unconstructively spewing vitriol, and my neck is sore from shaking my head so much. so i've been spending a lot less time here. i think i check the news page more often now than the forums. i just don't spend my life pointlessly wallowing in negativity so it's on me to avoid this place (but hey, you asked!). and maybe i am reading it poorly and missing lots of good stuff, but that's all the more reason to visit less. maybe in a few months i'll come back with fresh eyes and a heart full of wonder.
i'm still loving the game, though. great friends and still plenty to do.1 -
