No. Give me the cheese. Well rounded builds don’t work. You’ll just get killed to someone’s cheesy procs, lethal arrows or spin to win.

This game is far to broken to learn how to do things proper. I’m usually dead before I realize something was even attacking me In Cyrodil.

It’s time to change that. I’m ready to change CP, Gear, Skills, whatever. It’s time to learn the true endgame.

Ive read some cheese stuff for Sloads, Duroks, Tourgs, Fury, Brass, etc..is VD still a thing?

I’m gonna stop going into Cyrodil and battlegrounds with dungeon build toons and getting wrecked. That stuff don’t work there.

I started working with my Khajit Nightblade. It’s May Main, so crafting stuff and trying it out on him is easy.

Bone pirate, Hundings Rage, troll king seem to be working mediocre. I’m using a masters bow. Thinking about dropping that for a S/B.

I tried 5 heavy 1 1. It’s freaking terrible. How do people get used to that. You can’t barely ever get a heavy attack off for sustain.

So I went to 5 1 1 medium. You feel very squishy, but faster. So I tried the brass. Uhm. It makes you super tanky, but then have not so great damage.

Maybe Hundings just isn’t worth it in heavy. I’ve got some seventh legion lying around, but pieces need to be right. Impen makes a huge difference I’d have to admit.

This also has me wandering about PvP Mundus Stones. I’ve used the lover for so long now, I swapped it out just to try something different. I put the steed on I think. Health recovery and more go fast. It don’t seem bad.

Not sure how you would go with anything other than bone pirate for sustain. It’s just too good not to use.


Also, I’m pretty sure the 1 v X videos you see are all some guy finding a bunch of PvE players and lighting em up because it’s easy.

Even I can tell when someone isn’t geared right. I’m getting better, but not that good. Some people are just easy. And they often travel in packs.

If tried different potions and poisons. Lingering health/ speed I kind of dig. It’s hard to beat tripots. My hot bar is a wreck trying to maintain what to use.

Poisons are nuts. I hate when their on me and run my resources down ruins sustain and other things, but it’s hard to tell if they are affecting other players when on them.

I know a little bit, but not a lot. I hear about some things that just don’t seem to work that good for me.

Heavy armor is a big one. It feels like trash playing 5 heavy stamina build. You can take a lot more damage, but sustaining any kind of real fight is pitiful. I’d probably still use it in Dueling or something, but open world PvP, no way.

I’m not sure it’s worth keeping this DSA bow on either. Barswap is so clunky and unresponsive, feels like I only get one or two hits in while that buff is active and it’s hard af to focus on that player. I’m really leaning to S/B.

Not even sure why I’m sticking with 2H on this guy. Other than because I already have it made up. Daggers seem to fit nightblade better. Maybe I just put this setup with 2H on a Warden? I tried a maelstrom and masters 2H with Agility jewelry. It’s not good.

I’m at a loss for monster helmets. I tried BloodSpawn for awhile. It works okay. Veledreth, Selene, Stormfist don’t really seem that good. It’s too easy for players to roll out of the way. I used troll king, mostly because the pieces I had were already Impen, but then it turned out to be pretty good.


I noticed the Mundus Stone choice without Divines armor is all a bit lackluster. The steed I really chose, because your getting 2 bonus with it and the percentage moving speed wouldn’t be hindered much if any by no Divines pieces. (In my mind it was the most OP choice Lol! )


I spent most the day in Cyrodil. I don’t think it’s possible to have the best setup for every scenario possible but I’m getting better and finding ways to make some things work.

I’m pretty stuck on bone pirate. It was mentioned magic hard to keep up. I agree. I get about 3 cloaks and I’m out.



My setup was pretty decent in battlegrounds. I think it’s because they’re such a mixed bag of PvE players running in there, real or fake healers and tanks. And no CP. so your build is really standing or failing on its own. All I really have is Impen, sustain and a meh damage set . I guess that is kind of well rounded?

Changed it up a bit. Really have no cheese, but perhaps a crutch?

7th Legion, Bone Pirate, Troll King, Masters Bow. Sharpened 2H Maul. Still has the Steed Mundus and using Lingering Health Pots to keep Troll King active and for sustain. 5 Heavy 2 Medium.

It’s taken some time to learn how to sustain. Tried 5 1 1, 5 med 2 Heavy, BloodSpawn, Weapon Power Pots, Trash Pots, Tri-Pots, Cyrodil Pots etc. my hot bar is a wreck.

I’m considering swapping out Bone Pirate for Ward of Cyrodil. The Defile on Ward of Cyrodil looks very enticing as well...it was changed over the summer this year. If I could sustain would be the issue?

And I’d probably have to switch up to Arteum takeaway broth food instead of the Dubious Camoran Throne, which would help troll king a little better....but its kind of expensive to run.

I’ve not been a big fan of the heavy armor, but it’s ok, maybe good once you get the hang of it.
