PC EU - every day whole map yellow and all scrolls at yellow side

Yeah that's me.. I stopped defending the morningcap almost a year ago so either your memory is very good or you spotted me in a video somewhere getting flattened by a minor horde. Haven't been awake at that time in months because attempts to stop at least a ratio of 5 AD to 1 DC was completely futile, even if most of them don't know their Rs from their elbows. I'm also a range of other characters who used to get zergfunked (sp) at that time as well.. Pretty much sums up what i said originally about people having their desire to win a campaign being kicked out of them by morningcaps 364 days a year for the last 3 years. (we've all got to have a day off some time)
On top of that a mate of mine (who plays red/yellow and blue) mentioned to me something from 3 or 4 campaigns ago, where you said you would help the reds beat the blues as much as possible and this probably didn't help the DC contingency much but most likely made the reds feel better than they actually were at the time as well. Rumours of orange alliance got promoted to confirmation at that point, making things at that point almost pointless except to get a bit of fun rather than any manner of "fair" competition

My memory is quite good , no minor horde. Only yours/the blue one which killed me a few seconds after this.

That's very recently because i've got no tabard on and i only started doing this weeks ago...was testing a new build there and a new mouse with 12 less buttons than the previous one... let's just say it didn't work as well as i had hoped (as demonstrated in your vid XD)

During the day (9am - 5pm GMT) AD population is usually full wherea as DC & EP are on 1 bar low population and the whole map is always yellow, AD take all the keeps and scrolls. After 5pm AD is on low populaton but DC & EP are on high population and they share the keeps and scrolls between them - hence AD wins the campaign every month

TBH, i never saw AD population lower than EP or DC, no matter what time of the day. Other than that you are correct.

After 5pm AD is never on low population - they are faction locked until midnight.
And then there is a small lull, until the morning scrubs arrive at 4am to take an empty map.

Today is no exception, there is as usual a faction stack of 60+ AD just zerging the map like the fools they are XD

some days ago, on sotha sil, where I play ad (I play ep on vivec) I killed a player riding towards the last ad resource, whole map was red, and he hatewhispered me asking me why the f. I killed him, he was only riding to the resource station...At this point, if you dont main ad on vivec or ep on sotha your gaming time is effectively reduced to the hours between 6-7 in the afternoon until around one hour after midnight. While ad on vivec and ep on sotha can enjoy the full game 24/7, so my question is to zenimax, do you consider me less valuable than the mentioned factions? If not, how do you plan to make sure my playtime is comparable to the dominating factions? I work often in the evenings, and this is getting me really frustrating, as I simply cannot play my toons in cyrodiil during my playtime.

As a DC player who's moved over to Vivec from Sotha for the time being over the last couple of months, I find this huge score advantage via early morning scrolls stupid really. The problem isn't so much with the AD players. They're online in a group and nobody else is around, it's not like they're just gonna wait around for other alliances to be populated. But this scoring for the scrolls can easily be fixed a bit by doing something like :

Scroll taken from alliance with no bars on pop : 2 points,
1 bar : 4 points,
2 bars : 6 points,
3 bars : 8 points.

Then 10 points could only happen if server has all 3 alliances pop locked. It'd probably make things a bit fairer and more interesting than they currently are anyway.

Here's a thing as well... AD sorcs are actually stronger than all the others now..

I mean AD has Emp for most of the day, and some of the evening. The other factions have to fight for it, and it rarely goes to EP or DC for more than an hour or so..

So, given that your typical AD player knows they will have the health buff from EMP for most of their online time, they can build their sorcs to maximise shield size around that extra health pool.. Basically it gives EP sorcs a 1k bigger shield size pretty-much for free (a 2k bigger stack).

I'm wondering that's why I'm seeing a certain top solo magsorc playing AD this patch... :-p

EP do it Sotha for 3 years, AD do it Vivec 3 years, its just player mentality.

If you are not a scrub join DC.

I like Liebs idea to only have 1 EU server open between say 4am GMT and 4pm. Its not needed on NA though.

A group of AD players were the first to realise that most of the EU server population are offline at a specific time for a significant period and took full advantage to pvpdoor the map (Vivec) unchallenged.

By the time the rest of the server woke up to this situational exploitation AD had already won the campaign. Easily.

This was at least a couple of years ago and nothing has changed.

What's bizarre is that the other factions haven't countered it at all - they quickly became demoralised or accepting of the situation to the extent that AD have perma-emperor and monopolise the campaign buffs for most of each day pretty much every day giving them a significant advantage individually and collectively.

AD 'win' every campaign in this manner, and it's therefore no surprise that a higher percentage of new pvp players inevitably gravitate towards the over-dominant team, as well as the many existing players that have faction swapped, to take advantage of the big buffs, greater ap return and end-of-campaign rewards, thereby giving AD numerical advantage as well.

The net result is that if you are not an AD player you have to put up with over powered opponents and raids and being outnumbered, with little chance of making headway, earning decent ap and no hope of winning the campaign.

This has been the case for such a long time that it's baffling why ZoS hasn't addressed this overwhelming imbalance in some way shape or form, especially given the frequency with which they try to rebalance many other aspects of the game.

It's a wonder that there're still DC and EP players willing to go Vivec EU at prime time to even up the map if only for a couple of hours.
