Is there a cost for resetting champion points?

Googling isn't finding a clear answer nor is zone chat. The game shows a 'redistribute' option with no cost listed. Is that the case, is it a one time thing or always free, etc.

Yes. It's always 3k to redistribute, whether it's 1 point or all 820.

There will always be a 3k fee whenever changing CP points despite the amount changed.

It kinda does, when you select Redistribute it gives you a warning telling you the price.

You can only respec at the appropriate shrine and the dialogue shows the cost up front when you interact with it.

You don't need a shrine to respec your CP and yes, it will show you the cost before you hit the "Yes, that's really what i want to do" button ...

It tells you when you click it. You don't pay until you confirm the changes.
