Snared to hell and back

Let’s talk snares in pvp in murkmire.

Speed needed a nerf no doubt and the speed is fine now.

Snare immune from forward momentum and shuffle reduced is fine now.

But the amount of snares are horrid, there is no way to get away from a large group chasing you down now.

What is the answer ? Feel free to share your thoughts.

Kind regards Malleus.

The answer was speed and snare immunity. Did those need adjustment? Yes, they did. But snares and stuns remain untouched, hence they are stronger. And they were already used to death. (Literally.)
The only thing changed was escape from them....I said before, PvP with these changes are going to be stun/snare hell, more than ever before....as you are now stating.

Snares have been out of control for far too long and should be subject to the same rules as CC immunity.

I agree, immune to cc should also give immune to snares

...but guys, don't you see, it was magicka shields that were the real problem.

Shields we’re part of the problem, but we still have:

    - Snares
    - Poisons are overtuned
    - Enchants are now out of control
    - CP inflation and power creep is spiraling out of control
    - We’ve literally never had a full rebalancing and itemization of this game’s increasing number of sets—just little bits and pieces nerfs here and there and a monster set tuning with Morrowind. This, despite the fact that mechanics and systems have been dramatically overhauled without a thought or adjustment to so many of these sets.

I think those are the big issues in PVP and PVE. I think the final point is actually worthy of a thread of its own and some class rep feedback.

The answer is die and make potato zerg happy

They was upset when you had chance to escape or survive their light attacks

So zos gutted survive and mobility and added gazilion of procsets to one button or LA spammers

Because you know... 20 potatoes Zerg that chasing you can potentially buy for 20 times more in CS:-)

Not constructive to the main discussion at all but does anyone else kind of wish the thread was "Snared to hell and back, a PvPers tale" #BadLOTRJoke

I don't notice a difference. Oh wait, I wasn't using movement speed to move out of the range of snaring skills and FM/Shuffle. Now I get it... :D

I have learned if more than (x) players are on me that my situation is hopeless and I stand there and die. Trying to escape the snares and fight back is impossible.

The answer for my PVP toon.. usually a magblade .. is more related to situational awareness than anything else. Sometimes I judge wrongly and die a horrible death.
Fan of playing magblade since 2015. (PC NA)
    Might be joking in comments.

The answer has been destroyed, you can't run anymore and your entire time is spent breaking snare immunity every 4 seconds (or 1second due to snare bugs) I would say the new counter is to play in a group, a big group with purges.

Speed did not need a nerf, swift did imo but speed was fine before swift. And I don't agree with forward nerf either, I did at first but this is pathetic now. Snares are way too much. Foward should have stayed the same and shuffle should have been buffed. I also think magicka should have had some better speed options and snare immunity.
