No, I am not happy because I will not get to play my main with how annoying it will be to play mSorc healer, the class was already boring to play, now it's just going to be more useless.

RIP my little conjuring star, you're ventures in Morrowind, Oblivion, Skyrim, and now here have taken to their ends. :'(

Join the NB healer meta with Earthgore and the newly buffed Gossamer till ZoS ruins this class next with more idiotic changes.

This is the first season in my 3 years of playing where I actually didn't purchase 120$ worth of crowns.
    GG ZoS!! :)

Yes, i am. I'm looking forward to see how the game feels after all the balance changes. New content is very much welcome as well.

The answer to balance changes is easy.

    Call me a Pessimist but...
    - the Game will be with certainty unbalanced after all the balance changes.
    - there will be one (or more) hot fixes.
    - we will see many more 'Nerf' calls for the foreseeable future.

Why do people expect a different result when doing the same thing over and over again?

I'm excited to see the Cyrodiil changes and having a new area to explore, but this update is completely overshadowed by two big questions I won't know the answer to until the update has arrived:

    1. Will I actually be able to experience these new features, or is Cyrodiil going to become an even worse lagfest with all the new events that will be occurring? I think this is a legitimate concern, especially considering they broke PVP for over a month with one of their updates. I've seen no changes in the way they operate that would help avoid this type of problem in the future.

    2. Will my main character that I've played for years be viable in PVP after having both his defense and mobility nerfed? My damage output won't be getting any better, since they've not given us anything to help in that regard, same with my healing and sustain. My current build is the best I could come up with under the current system, and if you only take away things from my toolkit, I see my character only getting worse. I'm on console so can't test this, but the logic makes sense to me.

Really, this update just shows me they don't have a good long-term plan for what to do with the existing classes. People had legitimate complaints about sorcs, while the class also had some problems in other areas. Rather than trying to reconcile these things with a well thought-out rebuild of the class that addresses both concerns, they decided to just stick a cast time (switched to reduced effect when they recognized how stupid the cast time was) on our primary defense skill and nerf mobility to appease those with complaints against the class while doing nothing to help with the highly telegraphed easily dodgeable burst and sustain issues we've had for a while now.

I think ZoS does this on purpose - they know how depressed we are over the combat so they flood the store with a carp ton of new stuff or returned old stuff.
Sad that I don't really feel like playing any characters, but you bet I want the new $hinies.

I mean, this is Fashion Scrolls Online after all...

I'm really sick of ZOS' constant nerfs. Instead of nerfs, they should buff the other classes to be competitive. I'm also sick of them nerfing for PvP and screwing up PvE which is what always happens. So am I looking forward to the nerfs, hell no. Murkmire I can take or leave.

I'm looking forward to moar skyshards and skill points, trying out some new sets, wandering through new content, and learning new strategies in Cyro.

The new arena is kind of at the bottom of my list. Too many vDSA wipes to get excited about another arena. We'll see.

As for buffs/nerfs - I main a templar so I am looking forward to trying out some changes there.

I've got 2 main (beginner level) characters. I'm dreading relegating my Magden to a writ=crafter who rarely leaves the house and then only going out and about with my Stamblade. I feel sad. I've had a lot of fun with my Magden.

I usually go to Alik'r docks and run heals on the PUG's leveling their toons when I feel sad about my Templar. Some SPC and combat prayer and they are OP.

It's very therapeutic. See you there :D

After spending some time on the PTS actual and PTS forms these past 2 weeks. 2 days ago I brought GW2 Path of Fire, Heart of Thorns, and Season 2 passes.

I sense the 3rd coming of a break from ESO. At least until my playstyle comes back to the game. Or maybe I'll figure something out. But I'll be spending less time on ESO after Nerfmire for sure.

    PS# I main Magicka Sorcerer.

Nope, and I won't be about any other content either. Much less with any nerfs or buffs coming, that's the least of my concerns...

I am not even finished with half of the content overall, and I like it that way. Much to discover and enjoy yet.

As someone who hates change, no. Nothing at all. I think the last time I got properly excited for a DLC was Dark Brotherhood. Because, Dark Brotherhood.

SotH was okay. It felt horrible because the dungeons were so hard they made me question my skill and why I was in the game at all.

Morrowind brought the new chapter model. Apart from the trial (which I still hate) I didn't bother doing the story content until it was about 9 months old Too much content to do. Still haven't done Silver or Gold on any character. Why rush ahead.

HotR. Neh.... more hard dungeons to test my patience and make me question my skill. Granted, these also help turn players from casuals to DLC HM-ready, so they are good training.

CWC. Ugly, alien space-shooter type DLC that in my head still does not fit at all in the TES/ESO world. NPCs/mobs are annoying and ugly. Scenery is ugly as sin. The whole reason for it to be irks me. I have not bothered doing the quests yet and spend as little time there as possible.

Dragon Bones. More dungeons to test our patience and skill. These actually made me lose the drive to run DLCs for motifs. You either have players who can't hope or dont want to complete them or you have elitists who refuse to take any kind of support because moar deeps, then expect the tank (me) to handle every single mechanic on my own. Interrupts. CCs. Purges. Group heals. They can't even be bothered getting adds off my back. Then when I die overwhelned, they mock me. You know what? I'm done with this dungeon until I find decent people to run it again. FL of course. SP is still fun and one of my favorite dungeons ever with how insanely hectic things can get on the last boss.

Summerset. Another 'expansion'. Haven't done the quests. Don't care for snotty altmer. Will likely not complete the story in the next few months.

Wolfhunter. More dungeons.... I can't even get people to run these for achievements anymore. I even bribed my guilds. No takers. No point in trying.

And now Murkmire. Jee-Lar is unsufferable. The introduction has been turned from a long but simple fetch quest into 150 grindy missions that are poorly designed and turn players against one another. Probably won't work on the story until a very long time. Likely will take 5 years to complete the daily achievement. BRP will likely be more content too hard for most players to run. And the obligatory nerfs and buffs that will have people change build for the umpteenth time.... No. I'm not excited at all.

Just let me fish in peace! *shakes old wrinkled wrist*
