I mostly PVE but have done time in Cyrodill....some Undaunted...some Battlegrounds.

My impression of Undaunted delving is that it is "sound and fury signifying next to nothing"...run and slash...go, go, go.

I'd rather use sneak and invisibilty potions to go after shards even in the more difficult delves.

In Cyrodil...I've had some fun when I can get into sych with the battles...but you need to be quick and on your toes. Do like chasing shards and chests in Cyrodill behind enemy lines.

I mostly get ganked a lot. I sell weapons to gankers though...so I'm possibly being taken out by my own swords...which aren't cheap.

I have dabbled in pvp enough to where I despised it. Mostly because I got picked up in groups that didn't work together and we got decimated by larger groups. I turned to ganking and thoroughly enjoyed that because it was around the time zeros and ball groups started coming around. 1 guy would drift from the group and I'd instagib him. When someone realised he/she eas down they would break off and try to rest them. I'd gank them too. Before long I'd have a pile of 4 or 5 bodies before it got to hot for me to stay there.

I also liked being able to focus players in group. If I spotted an enemy healer, they were my top priority, then tanks. Made me feel like I was doing something for the cause because that would hit the enemy group harder than say if i took out a dd.

I really enjoyed it at that time even tho I didn't know a whole lot about the campaigns and such. I quit because blue and red were running in huge groups and yellows became non existant so I quit. Didnt realize that yellow had moved campaigns.

Went back to pve. Now looking into going back into it now that I have a little more knowledge and the killing blow they are about to do to magic classes.

130 voted, only 13% on pvp, 51% on PVE, why the heck do you want to nerf shield JUST for pvp and pis MASS PVE player cos they now struggle in dlc dungeons, vma and vet trials.

Also, please please please give it a test with your team bringing in a variety of dps into vet trials like Vhrc last boss and see how the block and shields phase does. We do not want the unbalanced all stam with Vigor trial group.

Fyi. The morrowind sustain nerf wasbecause of pve because too many people were beating the hardest content too easy.
The 1 second shield cast time is because of pve because alot of groups are not using a healer. Instead 3 DPS 1 Tank.

I feel all the voices in this community and the developers focus all on PVP, and never thought of PVE or how each toons plays in PVE. What if some people doesn’t enjoy or want to pvp?

Your poll shows otherwise though..majority play pve.

I’m glad, so ZOS should look at it and accommodate the right market more.

They’re not using healer not because the dps can shield but because another dps gives more damage than a healer does or can buff the group.

Well.... you're missing the point s/he was making. S/he pointed out first exactly what you were saying. Don't argue with those who are agreeing with you, whether they intended it that way or not. Now, I'm not sure that the cast time thing is because of no one using healers, since I don't do group content - and I'm pretty new in the game anyway.

Im no good at dungeons. I prefer stam characters. And I wont trust anyone else to heal me. I like being solo.
But I dont think ZoS entirely knows what theyre doing. Tell them healers dont have enough benefits anymore, maybe they dont know.
But theres no way in hell the shield nerf was pvp related. Stam characters already dominate PVP. Shields were the only thing mag characters had. And now its interruptable too. And critable which is the only pvp thing they did to shields, but with the 1 second cast time its just another nail in the coffin to mag in pvp. Even the changes to medium armour must be pve related, because they increased the % damage it gives you, which really only benefits snipers/gankers... Now imagine getting your shield sniped by a stamblade with near 80% crit....

Have you ever seen mag sorc in PvP, they can stack shields, that’s why it’s the ward and annulment that’s got nerfed ONLY.
It’s fair they now nerfed sorc shield stacking in PvP, it’s now balanced more, but it hurts PVE badly.

Do pretty much equal amounts of both, just depends on what I feel like doing that particular day. Also am I the only person that gets confused over people that hate pve coming to eso for hardcore pvp? I mean this is still elder scrolls it's kinda got a big emphasis on exploration and whatnot with it being an rpg series and all. I know it's an mmo, but still the elder scrolls aspect is there and it's what a lot of people come for. Just seems weird to me lol

always PVE. PVP in almost every game that possesses it, eventually becomes an extremely toxic environment that showcases the worst of humanity. And given what we're seeing here lately, ESO is no exception.

At first I only play PVE and avoid PVP.
I started to get bored with PVE and tried PVP. Turn out PVP is very fun and I am not that bad in PVP (I even got emperor slayer achievement but this is in non-CP campaign).
Now, I mostly play PVP with occasional PVE to support my PVP character with gold, gear, and other things.

The PvE Skinner Box zombies that have killed the MMORPG genre and basically turned what is left into glorified mobile games are far worse.

It’s fair they now nerfed sorc shield stacking in PvP, it’s now balanced more, but it hurts PVE badly.

I am still waiting for the day when people finally realize that this shield cast time nerf DOES NOT ONLY affect Mag Sorcs. People are so blinded with their hatred towards Mag Sorc playstyle that they are fine with every other classes to take a serious hit too for their survival. But as long as Mag Sorcs suffer, that's completely fair and justified?

However, since PvE mobs do not complain about players DPS, you will not see Molag Kena writing on forums how often she got melted away under heavy DPS and therefor you won't see her requesting nerfs.
People are so used to point fingers towards players who are not doing the same end game content and blaming them for every single nerf which developers implemented. When Sloads was about to get nerfed, there were even some players complaining that "don't nerf PvE because of PvP" and at that point I thought I've seen everything.

And about the poll itself: I'm mainly playing PvP.
However I do still complete PvE dungeons if I need something from there or if I help my friends with farming some gear.
But when I'm done with healing in PvE, I go to kill people in PvP instead.
