Werewolf Coloring

So many of you may have noticed by now that there are 3 colors of Werewolves (WWs) in the game. White, Black, and Grey.

Now once you're bitten you're a Grey WW, but as you upgrade your WW ULT you can go "Pack Leader" or "Berserker". Pack Leader turns you into a White WW, and Berserker you stay a Grey WW.

I'm VR2 going through Glenumbra, and have gotten to Camlorn, and have noticed Black WWs. Which look pretty cool.

How many of you WW-lovers would like to see the "Berserker" upgrade get a Black fur WW?

Not a bad idea. You had me worried for a minute. Given some of the ideas I've seen in this forum, I was certain that this was about coloring werewolves at the dye stations.

IRL black wolves are the dominant 'alpha' pack leaders, I think, so yes, it would make sense. Can't see a berserker ww being a follower, maybe a lone wolf tho. Good point. I'd like to see it.

Brown would be cool too, but I feel Black WW's would fit the Berserker ULT better.

I want to be a black werewolf. But I have some more ideas:
Dye werewolf fur, and no, no pink werewolfs, or some colors that couldn't fit in a werewolf, we could have some colors that are JUST for werewolf fur:
- White.
- Light Grey.
- Grey.
- Dark Grey.
- Light Brown.
- Brown.
- Dark Brown.
- Black.

If they add something like this, it would be awesome! Told this to ZOS in a feedback ticket.

IRL the Pack Leader is the one that will rip another wolf's throat out in order to claim that rank.

Someone posted that Berserker is SUPPOSED to be black, and it was a confirmed bug ZOS said they were working on. At least that's what I heard from a guildy who said they heard it in an email from a ZOS support rep, so take it with a grain.

For what it's worth, I think berserker NEEDS to be black, to significantly differentiate it from the normal WW ultimate. Both Pack Leader and Berserker should be slightly larger as well.

It'd be awesome to have different fur colors, but I'll just be happy once the Berserkers are their normal color. I pretty much always go for that one since the increase in damage is usually more useful than increased time in WW form and stuff (except in the case of WW Guilds where everyone running Pack Leader would be beneficial).

It is a confirmed bug that the Berserker WW is supposed to be black, but still, they haven't fixed this simple, yet annoying, bug..

Black wolves are no different from normal wolves except that they have a genetic aberration called melanism that makes their fur black.

Leadership of the pack goes to whichever wolf is biggest, strongest, and can be bothered to take control of the pact by force.

As others have said, Berserker is meant to be black. Unfortunately it's basically the same as the default werewolf. Hopefully it gets changed properly soon

One thing I'd like is for us to have some more animations. You can see enemy NPC werewolves walk on all fours, but we can only walk in the standing animation. Also they have a move where they jump up and hit you, it would be nice if we could have that too.

Where did they confirm that? As far as I remember, they confirmed it wasn't a bug.
