So you can get an idea how long a wait you have, and if you can go AFK for a few minutes without missing it and such.
Having no idea if it will be 20 minutes or 3 hours+ sucks, especially since I discovered if you just move or open your inventory or something it just boots you out of the chat and you just lost all that time. So instead of playing, I get to sit still, do nothing, and stare at "waiting for agent" for an unknown amount of time.
