I get to the character creation, only to find the name I used in the beta is already in use.
Did someone beat me to it or is it because it was used in the beta and did not get wiped?
The name is unusual & I use it in many other MMOs.

Osi✭✭✭Beta characters were wiped, have no worry. (although you might have preferred to hear that...) I was able to obtain one of the names I used in the Beta.
I suggest you go to a backup name or one that sounds similar. I had to go to my third tier of names on some of my characters (one of each class) to find one available. My Osi Nightblade and Ori Dragonknight from Beta... you will be missed!

Jser✭First come first serve on names, so looks like someone beat you to it. Beta has been wiped and I obtained my Beta name. You can always add a space and a last name if you're really dedicated to it. Otherwise it may be time to be a bit more creative
